Had a great time presenting on penicillin allergies at the IGNITE competition for the SAEM Great Plains Conference at @MCWEmerMed yesterday. Although 10% of the population reports a penicillin allergy, 90% of those with a penicillin-allergy label actually aren't allergic!

Had fun presenting on the role of red flags in emergency medicine practice today for @UWEmerMed conference. To quote @schnappadap: "Some red flags are redder than others."

Just got my 2022 WI State Parks pass today! Gotta keep working on that lung capacity
Looking forward to #EEM2022!
Congrats to Resident Physician @MatthewStampfl, MD, for winning the @spoonfedEM #EEM2022 fellowship! When he’s not practicing, Dr. Stampfl is hiking the “60 Hikes Within 60 Miles of Madison." Much praise to both your work ethic AND your lung capacity. Well deserved, Matthew!
