Visited London for the first time in quite a while. Harrowing experience… 1. They’re lying about the numbers. The next census is going to be absolutely barbaric reading. 2. Things are far worse than most people outside of London could possibly imagine. The entire city has been turned into a middle Easter bazaar and a sub continental slop market.

They will be finding new Bowden tapes and interviews for the next 1000 years like old ladies finding a lost Cimabue

Color studies after Turner… Richie did these all the time.
Richard Bober, Color Notes from Turner, n.d. 6" x 24" Richard would endlessly analyze and copy works he adored by various Old Masters. A favorite was the land/sea-scapes of the English Romantic painter J. M. W. Turner. Acrylic & Oil w/pencil notes on illustration board fragment

I’ve asked this before but is there any historical event that is like the Opposite of 9/11. Like something so good that happened that it changed the world forever

Its important to have a clean and orderly pallete. Richard Schmid said, whatever is on your pallete will inevitably end up on your canvas. Whether you like it or not.

I started these Shadow of the Colossus paintings in acrylic. When they are dry a glaze and vellatura layer woll be applied to deepen the shadows and create atmospheric effects.
