- Home prices doubled in half a decade, so renting stopped being a phase and became the plan.
- Childcare costs now rival a second rent payment every single month.
- Somewhere in there you’re also caring for aging parents, raising your own kids, and running on fumes.
- Now AI layoffs are hitting during what should be your highest earning years.
