As an artist I appreciate this. Each work of art is like a child. Giving them up is hard but it's nice to know they're going to a good home!
When I buy a piece of art I often send a photo of it in our house to the artist if I can. Seems like it could be hard to make a thing and then have it travel off without you? So I like to show artists where their work lives now. Probably weird, but no complaints so far.
That's why it's called "haute", which means elevated. It's never for everyday. It embodies dreams, fantasy, the outrageous, and intends to shock. Wearable art. The average person could never hope to approach its grandeur.

Yeah, haute couture, not my thing. I think these outfits look ridiculous.

Art is the instrument for turning the abstract and hidden into other people's joy. - Archimandrite Mátyás of Canada
Holy Phoenix asked for a self-portrait so that's my next project. 5x3 (imp.) acrylic on canvas
Keep drawing your terrible pictures. It's infrequent we get the chance to see an evolution in action and our artwork is a chance to do so! That voice that you're not good enough will always be there. Creators cannot judge our own work well. It will never be good enough.
Beautiful day outside so I made a wire wrap ring. Sapphire, silver, pearl, steel.
