Okay, this is freaking terrifying to me.
When I received a message from a former Trump administration official in August, asking me to meet with his team at a prestigious think-tank, I never could have imagined I was conversing with an Iranian intelligence agent.
It was the start of a two-month sting - described by ASIO chief Mike Burgess as "sophisticated and targeted" - that ended with the notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps gaining access to my personal emails and details in a major security breach.
The message from a former senior Trump administration contact I forged through my Wuhan reporting, who has a prominent profile with hundreds of thousands of followers, came on August 18 this year.
I had worked with him on my investigation into the origins of Covid-19. I trusted him and had met him in person during one of his visits to Australia.
Unbeknownst to either of us, his genuine X account had been infiltrated by an Iranian operative, using the ‘delegate feature’ on X, which gives a third party access to manage and operate your account.

1. You end every tweet with -F and people get tired of the signature.
2. Your bark is worse than your bite but still too loud in the feed.
3. Followers prefer real dogs over stuffed ones.
4. You steal the spotlight from Mav too often.
5. Your puns are so doggone good they unfollow out of envy.
The theater was packed for "You Can See Everything" last week. Very shocked considering it was an open-captioned showing.
That said, deaf people love documentaries. 🤔
At a time when the box office is rebounding, and embracing auteur-driven fare (i.e. Christopher Nolan’s near $1.8B grossing The Odyssey) as well as originality (a three-hour documentary about a delusional, scandalous tech titan called You Can See Everything), the star studded Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams starring Klara and the Sun failed to shine with a $701K domestic opening last weekend. The movie, booked at 880 locations, posted a theater average that was less than $800.

yep! My Dad wouldn’t sleep a wink tonight
Story time about this pic: I remember when my dad bought the tickets for my son and him to go to this playoff game and they really were not in the budget.
He and I were talking about whether he should pull the trigger and do it and he said “I’ll probably never live to see the Rays make it to the playoffs again so I’m just gonna do it.”
He did get to see the Rays make the playoffs again during Covid, but obviously they couldn’t go in person and after that he passed away, so I’m really glad he spent that money.
If that apartment was $1400, please send me the address and the landlord's number.

She mostly didn't. Penny freeloaded hard—stealing WiFi, eating the guys' food, borrowing cash constantly, and letting bills slide. Her place was smaller and shabbier than 4A, rent around $1,400 max. Waitress tips at the Cheesecake Factory plus pure sitcom physics kept her afloat while the PhDs split a nicer unit.
I am a dog so clearly cats are the worst.
That said, no cat, not even evil devil spawn black cats, deserve this from a human.
I stand with this cat. Not closely, of course, but stand none the less. I'll fite that human!
What's it like to be deaf?
Well, I apparently have a referral from the hospital for an oncologist in my app, and I have no idea why because this was never mentioned while there.
Annnd, I can't call anyone to find out.
So, back to the hospital tomorrow for questions. 😐😐😐

YIKES: @KrisMayes pledges to get rid of golf courses if re-elected:
"We have way, way too much grass in Arizona. We probably frankly — and I'm sure the golf industry is not going to like this when I say this — we probably have too many golf courses in Arizona right now." #AZAG

Great news y'all! They've identified the infection & given @Ithildyn's brother an antibiotic. He was able to get up and walk around some!
He still has a long recovery ahead, but these are literal steps in the right direction.
