Each year, FEAST reaches thousands of young people with enriching activities & free meals. This summer, our amazing community providers gave out more than 50,000 meals.
The extension of the programme is a huge sigh of relief, and a safety net, for families across #NorthYorkshire
The government has confirmed that they plan to continue funding free activities with food during the school holidays until 2029!
Read more about the extension here: northyorkshiretogether.co.uk…

It's been brilliant to have @BBC support FEAST over the recent days via online news, @BBCLookNorth coverage and a spot on @BBCYork.
Holiday activities like FEAST are a lifeline for families, and there's still over a fortnight of activities to get involved in

A big thank you to BBC Radio York & BBC Look North for their recent coverage!

Of course, I'm somewhat biased... But it's great to see @nyorkstogether, the collaboration between NYS @atnyy & @RuralArts, showcased throughout the report (above!), and its accompanying video:

I loved this piece from @LynGardner on how village halls can be at the heart of a democratic approach to culture.
I was always astounded by the sheer percent of a village that would come out for a #ruraltouring show when I led @RuralArts.

The FEAST programme continues to make a positive impact on families in North Yorkshire. Our latest story follows the Golec family who, after a family tragedy, found support through FEAST activities across North Yorkshire: northyorkshiretogether.co.uk…
