Florida votes tomorrow. Amendment 3 raises the non-school homestead exemption to $150K in 2027 and $250K in 2028, and cuts the yearly cap on non-homestead assessment increases from 10% to 5%. It needs 60% to pass. Vote Yes on 3.

A constitutional amendment is not the “state” telling local governments how to spend tax dollars.
It is an act of the people via their constitution to protect their property from excessive taxation by expanding the homestead exemption and prohibiting remaining property tax revenue from being used on non-essential items.
Taxpayers will have greater constitutional protection under Amendment 3!
