Simply not good enough. Too many players didn't perform on the day and Enfield deserved the 3 points.
We need a massive reaction on Tuesday night when we're back at the fortress.
Despite resting many regulars, the overall performance was positive, especially in the first half. However, we conceded 3 cheap goals and Hoddesdon punished us.
Special mention to our three u18s who did us proud. One of whom scored.
Good luck to Hoddesdon in the next round.
A game of two halves. Started the game sloppy, turning the ball over far too easily, but we showed great character in the second half to turn the game around and secure the 3 points.
On to Tuesday's cup game away to Hoddesdon.
Heartbreak for May & Baker as we're knocked out of the FA Vase on penalties against a strong step 5 team. We had the chances to win the game in 90 mins but didn't take them despite a dominant second half performance. Good luck to St Neots in the next round.
A disappointing performance from May & Baker last night brings our unbeaten run to an end. Thankfully, we have the opportunity to show our character and bounce back on Saturday, at home v Rayleigh.
