How bad is administrative bloat in higher ed? At MIT, the “student body has grown by 8% and its faculty by 9% since the mid-1980s. By comparison, the tally of administrators jumped by 189%.”

In Maryland, a school district can (and did) create an elaborate scheme to reduce the number of Asians and the courts said they weren't legally allowed to review it. Supreme Court will hear this case next year.
Can a school discriminate against Asian students as long as its enrollment numbers look “fair”? The Supreme Court will hear a case challenging that very question after lower courts dismissed students’ claims. @MayMailman breaks it down 👇

Even the NYT acknowledges it's highly irregular for judges to platform themselves and their opposition to the federal government. Judge Schiltz likens Trump's DOJ to North Korea and argues DOJ is going to... be the reason people don't get married or have children? Totes impartial.
Impartiality is imperative to ensuring public trust in our Nation’s judiciary. Judge Schiltz’s and Judge Tunheim’s on-the-record participation in a recent highly partisan New York Times Article, along with Judge Schiltz’s subsequent public comments, unquestionably calls into doubt whether they can be impartial in these cases. A judge who has publicly taken a political side on the issue of enforcing our Nation’s immigration laws cannot then preside over a case concerning one of the Justice Department’s key immigration enforcement initiatives.

🚨 Trump rally goer in Kansas: “Trump’s like my wife. There’s some days I like him better than others, but there’s not any day that I don’t love him.” 😂 @realtoriabrooke is crushing it with MAGA supporters in Kansas. Full coverage on @RSBNetwork

This isn’t what you originally said, to be clear. You said you wanted to use the legal system to bring “signature cases” against Trump officials to dissuade young people from working in the administration, not to, you know, prosecute actual crime.

What's also great about this ad is how easy it is to consume on a quad screen, during a chaotic college football Saturday. Our political memory is sometimes short, but lest we forget, the Left has no legitimacy on "affordability." Their only solutions are giveaways, which caused the 9.1% inflation under Biden.
It’s that simple. Vote Republican.

I almost didn’t click because I thought surely this will be more normal than advertised. Nope. She actually wants the threat of lawsuit to stop college kids from going into the Admin. Third world insanity.
ON UCHICAGO CAMPUS: U.S. Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin hopes planned political prosecutions of republican leaders will scare young conservatives from getting involved in politics. @ElissaSlotkin

CNN panel says identity politics is good, because... NASCAR is an identity? But that's not how identity politics treats people. Identity politics demands political behavior based on immutable characteristics, treating sex and race-based groups as lacking individual agency. It's no friend to democracy.

AOC is either this dumb or this deceitful or likely both. The program she's in theory referring to will LOWER the cost of education by ending incentives for schools to exponentially increase their graduate education tuition. SIGH.
🚨BREAKING: AOC just claimed the Trump administration doesn't want women to go to college. AOC at Abdul El-Sayed's town hall in Escanaba, Michigan: "They don't want women to go to college." She says loan changes target nurses, teachers and social workers. That's her pitch.

Indeed, @MayMailman. “If your parent is a terrorist, that is a problem.” Apparently, that’s a controversial statement on CNN.

On CNN NewsNight, @MayMailman BLASTS Abdul El-Sayed’s policy agenda: “These DSA policies, including Medicare for all, which he has endorsed, is going to raise the national debt by 45 trillion dollars, and that's going to cost people in GDP, which is going to cost people in their hourly wages. So yes, affordability is definitely the number one target, but also I think it's an authenticity issue. So when when he goes on TV and says, "I have no connection to the Muslim Brotherhood, and my family doesn't, and then when his sister says that they do, and he's confronted with that, instead of explaining it, he says, "How dare you ask me about that? That authenticity problem, I think, is an issue for Michigan voters.”

And again in Washington State, a dude just switches over to the girls cross country team MIDSEASON and the State is like yes this is good. (Even I am surprised by the boldness every once in a while.) Is Washington actively trying to mock the girls, I'm so confused.

Ohioans and Americans deserve fair and hardworking judges, not Sherrod Brown's third world partisan garbage. A legal study across federal judges found Trump judges to top the charts on productivity, influence, and lack of partisanship!!
Ohio Democratic Senate nominee Sherrod Brown just pledged that he will not vote to confirm any Trump judicial nominees regardless of their qualifications. So not only would the Democrats pack the Court, but they will block any new judges to purge the courts through attrition.

SCOTUS has before it the next wave of women's sports cases: do laws eviscerating women's sports violate Title IX? @ADFLegal representing a female wrestler says yes. Briefing concluded yesterday. (The facts are depressing. The case says the girl faced assault, fingers in her private parts, during the match.)

So many employers force women to shower with men by providing "women's" locker rooms that men self-identify into. I have heard from women around the country who feel powerless. Grateful to EEOC for recognizing this violates the rights of women and giving these women a voice!!
Following an EEOC investigation, the City of O’Fallon, Illinois agreed to designate women’s and men’s locker rooms and showers by sex (not gender identity), provide training, and report on compliance under a five-year conciliation agreement. Women deserve privacy, safety, and single-sex facilities at work. Read more here: eeoc.gov/newsroom/eeoc-defen…

I promise you’re not even slightly prepared for how INSANE this story is. Not only has the town they’re in not had a single COVID case in months but it was originally founded as a commie bar for lesbians where paying was optional. Eventually almost no one paid the cover fee (predictable) and 2 of the original owners left. The full time mask requirement left them almost no business. One of the owners left to go to CLOWN COLLEGE. The drama here is that they’re making masks optional for ONE NIGHT OF THE WEEK! In a town with NO COVID cases…. I mean it would be nuts if there was COVID too but how are they so delusional that they think they need to mask with zero cases!?! The one remaining owner is living in her car because the commie business model is failing so terribly. She can’t pay herself or her employees. Her detractors, who have been bar patrons, have been attacking her as well for sometimes forgetting to use alt text on social media posts, which they call ableist and dangerous. 😂 Some responses she got to ONE night where masking would be optional: "PEOPLE LIKE YOU KILL DISABLED PEOPLE" "YOU’RE COMPLICIT IN A MASS DISABLING EVENT" "I HOPE YOUR VENUE GETS FIREBOMBED" So… 😂😂😂 Next she brings in a mediator to hear out the crazy people. The meeting goes off the rails almost immediately because the mediator (who’s a therapist) is White. They then said she was a mandatory reporter who could force hospitalize them. They said the mediator made them feel "wildly unsafe." The owner is 50k in debt on the business loan and living in her car. When she brought this up they said she was spilling White Tears for sympathy which they found "incredibly racist." The meeting went on like this for nearly 4 hours. Long story short: these leftists are literally insane. So insane that clown college seems like the most intelligent move in this deranged story. 🤡 You can never let them have any power.
