It still feels surreal saying thisβ¦
On April 17, 2026, I was formally elevated to the rank of Professor of Medicine by the Governing Council of Pamo University of Medical Sciences.
What a moment.
This journey has been years in the making filled with research, teaching, long nights, collaborations across borders, community work, and an unwavering belief in better health systems for all.
I am deeply grateful to the distinguished academic leaders who saw my work, assessed it, and deemed me worthy:
Emeritus Professor Francis Chinedu Akpuaka
Emeritus Professor Musa Muhammed Borodo
Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie
Thank you for your time, your rigour, and your belief.
To my mentors, colleagues, students, patients, and the communities I serve this is our win.
To my husband, my children, and family, your love and support carry me through every season.
And to my PUMS family, this new chapter of service means so much.
This isnβt the destination.
Itβs a deeper call to serve, to teach, and to build.
Excellence for the Good of All.

"Sometimes I wonder: after every attack, we rush online to blame the government. But what exactly do we expect beyond basic security?
Plateau, when will we wake up? The bitter truth? The govt wonβt save us.
Youth of Jos, letβs drop politics. Defend ourselves, secure our communities. Waiting is killing us."

The Nigerian Police in Plateau State are claiming the videos of yesterdayβs attacks on mourners burying seven killed on Tuesday were fabricated. I guess this too was staged π‘

When I visited Nigeria, the government responded swiftly to quell a coup in Benin.
Nigeriaβs willingness to step in to stop a violent attack in another country, while they stand by as their own Christian citizens are brutalized makes these absolutely horrific scenes unfolding in Plateau State all the more unconscionable.
Christians β who were gathered for a mass burial for those killed in a previous attack β were viciously murdered by radical Islamic terrorists.
The Nigerian Government could root out the terrorism and stop the martyrdom of its own citizens. But, despite receiving early warnings of impending attacks, they are nowhere to be found as Christians are murdered for their faith, like lambs led to slaughter.
Enough is enough.
I am grateful the Trump Administration specifically identified protecting Christians in Nigeria in the administrationβs new Counterterrorism Strategy. Now, I am asking the Trump Administration to take forceful action to defend our innocent brothers and sisters in Christ in the Middle Belt of Nigeria, the epicenter of an ongoing Christian genocide.
π¨ THIS IS AN EMERGENCY: THE SECURITY SITUATION IN PLATEAU HAS WORSENED
This was supposed to be a mass burial for Christians massacred by the terrorists on the night of Tuesday, in Plateau state.
While victims' families and community were mourning their loss, getting ready to bid them farewell forever, same terrorists struck again at the burial ground.
After seeing what Mali did to over 12,000 terrorists who invaded their country in the last few weeks, i don't think anyone will argue with me again when i say that Nigeria is most definitely not interested in defeating these terrorists. They're more interested in pampering and pardoning them.
Nigerian Christians need help and they need it now.
