‘This year Halloween fell on the weekend. Me and Geto Boys are trick or treatin’ …’
My love for the game started on that exact field at age 8. Let’s keep this sandlot diamond alive and well! It’s what’s best for the community, the kids and the game!
@MazOneNine @THEChrisMack @TheMayorsOffice @astockeyWTAE @RepBillKortz @RepPisciottano @SenRobinsonPA Please help us save our baseball field in Whitehall, nearly 1,500 kids depend on it!!chng.it/B5rVyBFMxm
First ballot HOF’r! This guy was the 🐐. One of the greatest Griffs.
Congratulations Nick Sell on your induction into the @GriffinsSports Hall of Fame!
Each of the last 13 years, the last weekend in September, I’m reminded how very fortunate I am. 80+ @SHGriffBaseball alumni showed up this weekend. It keeps growing & becoming more special each year. I’m thankful to have these lifelong relationships. #TraditionNeverGraduates

.@bvicini11 is 6-0 as a professional pitcher. And he’s only been one for 2 months. So proud of this guy. What a journey he’s been on!
Game 1 in the books. Game two at 7:30 p.m.
@bvicini11 with 6 shutty and @Zach_Strecker29 nails down save #15 of the year. @sohnywalkman19 knocked home the run.
Now we gotta compete against this stud! I’m so excited to see @djcannon24 rewarded for years of hard work and dedication. The @PSACsports just got a whole lot tougher!

Last I checked, there are not more baseball players then there were 10yrs ago.
However, there are 10x the amount of travel teams & events.
Every aspect of youth baseball is watered down.
It’s time to collaborate rather than continue to splinter. The game needs it 💡. #baseball

If that number of 3200 is accurate it is the equivalent of 91 D1 Baseball Teams with rosters of the 35 max. We only have 299 D1 programs. If the 2000 is accurate it is the equivalent of 57 D1 teams. That means 20% of all D1 players are in the portal.

As we approach the weekend keep in mind there is a massive umpire shortage. Instead of screaming at the officials, say thank you. They are a crucial part of the game.
