Hi! I had an interview with @iamnickcook about my experiences with the phenomena and he wrote a brilliant article about how the phenomena we experience changes based upon our own internal transformation, and that possibly… what we observe outside of us (UFOs, trees, cars) may not be so separate from us than we think. nickcook.substack.com/p/the-…

I hope he’s waking up in some other area of the universe, his entire life here a dream injected by an alien probe

I absolutely loved this one, and fortuitously an absolutely prescient article! I’ve had to train myself so many times over the past few years to ‘think for myself’ but it’s not an easy task! ~ “Love the mystery more than you love being seen loving it” (*My bastardization!)

Thanks for sharing my article, Chris! It was difficult to write because I truly cherish my readers and their support. But sometimes we all need a strategic pause to better connect with our purpose 💕
Great article, highly recommend!

In alchemy, there are two traditional approaches to accomplishing the Great Work, known as the Wet Path and the Dry Path. The Wet Path is slow and gradual, involving repeated cycles of dissolution, purification, and refinement. The Dry Path uses intense heat to bring about transformation much more rapidly. When applied to consciousness, the Wet Path is what happens when we dedicate ourselves to daily practices like meditation, martial arts, or another discipline that gradually changes who we are. The Dry Path is what happens when an experience is so powerful that it completely dismantles our existing understanding of ourselves and the world. This might be a profound spiritual realization, a confrontation with death, or a crisis that forces us to question everything we previously believed. But one important thing to understand about the Dry Path is that suffering doesn’t automatically produce wisdom. Fire can purify, but it can also just destroy something (or someone). Being broken apart doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve been transformed. I think what people often overlook is that these two paths aren’t necessarily separate. Someone might spend twenty years gradually refining themselves through the Wet Path, only to experience a realization that changes everything in a single instant. Likewise, someone who undergoes a sudden transformation through the Dry Path may need years of gradual practice afterward to integrate what they’ve experienced. This is why I place so much importance on daily discipline. We tend to romanticize dramatic spiritual experiences, but the real test comes afterward, when we return to the ordinary difficulties of being human. The goal of alchemy is to produce something stable and capable of withstanding the fire without being destroyed by it. The goal isn’t to become someone who has experienced extraordinary things. It’s to become someone who can meet ordinary life with extraordinary clarity.

We always think, “If only I could have XYZ, I could be happy.” What we should actually be telling ourselves is, “If only I could let go of XYZ, I could be happy.”

Experiencers thinking about going public: notice who cares more about access to you than about you. And notice who makes the community bigger, and who makes it dependent on them. I'm taking a break for Nov and Dec. My new essay explains why: mazetometanoia.substack.com/…

I’m stepping away for November and December. Before I go, I wrote about why: Plato, attention, the egos we feed, and the mystery that brought us here in the first place. The Mystery Is Big Enough for All of Us mazetometanoia.substack.com/…

The materialist paradigm was already obviously dead at the time of Pythagoras. Synchronicity is definitely relevant though. I haven't said much about it yet but it's coming, if the data hold up. youtu.be/k9lGNyPHurQ
