Jason's math checks out from the user side. I run 7 Grok Bots: news, jobs, writing, ops, video, Tesla, and one that manages the rest. 1. ~$30/hr x 2,080 hrs = ~$62K per "employee" 2. 2-3 of them = $125K-$187K of work a year 3. Even at 10x todays price thats still a bargain If serving it costs too much, pricing power is the fix not the problem $SPCX
This is an extremely bullish sign that people are getting value from their bots For $5k a year you can have two or three competent mid-tier employees… I think grok bots represent $30 an hour employees on average (from $15-25 clerical and $50-100 an hour developer blended it all to $30) And this is as bad as it will ever be!

The bear math assumes SpaceX rents every GPU at today's prices. The upside case: when renting gets cheaper, SpaceX keeps the compute for Grok, enterprise AI, and FSD training for Robotaxi, Cybercab, and eventually Optimus. Every GPU has a buyer, even if that buyer is SpaceX. $SPCX

Humanity has 16,848 active satellites in orbit (as of Oct 31). 11,184 are Starlink. That's 66%. Starlink alone has nearly 2x every other active satellite combined, from every country and company. One company. Two-thirds of the sky. $SPCX 🛰️

Elon this morning: "Our capex efficiency is greatly underestimated." The receipts: Colossus 2 went 210 MW in 91 days, then 220 MW in 64. SpaceX casts its own turbine blades to get power online 12-18 months sooner. Faster build, faster payback. What's Wall Street missing? $SPCX

The wild part: Shaun Maguire's $731B 2028 model is the conservative case. He gives SpaceX 10.2 GW by end of 2027. On the Q3 call Elon said he'd be "surprised if" it's less than 13 GW. Wall Street is modeling 4.9 GW. $SPCX
A Sequoia partner says SpaceX will bring in $731 billion in 2028. That's more than Walmart or Amazon sold last year, from a company that made $18.7 billion in 2025. It sounds made up until you check where his numbers came from. Almost every big one is straight off SpaceX's own earnings call, and a few are actually lower than what the company told investors. Shaun Maguire's model has SpaceX doing $36.3 billion in the first quarter of 2027. On the October call, SpaceX's CFO guided to somewhere between $33 and $37 billion. On computing power, SpaceX says it's aiming for about 13 gigawatts by the end of 2027, with a stretch plan above 20. Shaun only gave them 10.2, so he's assuming they build about 3 fewer gigawatts than they say they will. Pricing works the same way. Back in August, Elon said a watt of AI compute is worth $30 to $50 a year in revenue, and Shaun picked $40, right down the middle. Multiply those two together and you've got most of the model. Get to 21 gigawatts through 2028, charge $40 a watt, and that's $569 billion in compute revenue in one year. Starlink and everything else fill in the rest. Wall Street is nowhere close. When SpaceX went public in June, Goldman and Morgan Stanley both had 2028 at roughly $160 billion. Morgan Stanley's September model assumed 4.9 gigawatts by the end of 2027, then knocked 50% off the AI business for execution risk. So a $571 billion disagreement between a Sequoia partner and the banks that took SpaceX public comes down to one question, whether you believe SpaceX can build what it says it's building. If I were going to poke at one number, it'd be price per watt. SpaceX did $7.56 billion of AI revenue last quarter on 1.7 gigawatts, which works out to about $18 a watt over a year. Shaun's model needs that to more than double while capacity grows twelvefold, and that's the line I'd watch every quarter. What gets me is how small the rockets end up in this picture. In the model, the space business is 2.4% of 2028 revenue, Starlink is about 12%, and AI compute is around 85%. And the plan still has Starship flying 250 times that year, from a rocket that's flown fewer than 15 times so far. If Shaun's model is wrong, SpaceX's own guidance is wrong first.

What I took from the SpaceX Q3 call: ~2.5 to 3 GW online by end of this year ~200,000 GB300s coming online per month "Fairly confident" of +10 GW in 2027 "Surprised if" it's under 13 GW by end of 2027 Compute is the business now. $SPCX
Elon Musk literally told us how insane growth $SPCX is not only next year but by NEXT QUARTER(S). If you missed this, here are the VERY important parts of the SpaceX's Q3 earnings call. Pay very close attention and try to keep your brain from melting.

Colossus 2 today: Macrohard ~550k GB200s Macroharder + Minihard ~220k GB300s each, training Gun Range ~220k more, end of November Spam ~200k for inference, December Room for a 5th and 6th site. Grok Bot at 800K paid weekly users. $SPCX LEAPS here look generational

Elon just walked Colossus 2 and put dates on the next two buildings. Gun Range: ~220k GB300s, operational by end of November. Spam: ~200k GB300s for inference, December. That's ~420k more GB300s in two months, right in line with SpaceX's ~200k a month guidance. $SPCX
Macroharder and Minihard both have 220k GB300s with 800 gig nics configured for training. Gun Range will have the same. Spam (used to house Hormel products) will have ~200k GB300s, but configured for inference, so much simpler networking and less than half the fiber. I walked the whole Colossus 2 site around midnight and again this morning. Good progress by the SpaceX team and contractors. Gun Range is tracking to be operational by end of November and Spam in December.

Google's AI satellite has to shut off every 15-20 min to keep from overheating. People are calling that proof orbital compute is dead. It's actually proof of the real bottleneck. And it's the exact problem SpaceX designed AI1 around. 🧵

Open questions remain: radiator temps, mass, cost per kW. But the fix is engineering, not new physics. Bigger radiators, and Starship to launch them cheap. Overheating doesn't kill it. Expensive launch would. $SPCX

Orbital compute is the near-term story. Elon is already sketching the next step: AI satellites launched off the Moon by mass driver, adding more than a petawatt a year. That's beyond Earth's whole economy. Sounds crazy until you remember 700+ Falcon landings sounded crazy too. 🌕
Replying to @spencerpratt
Launching super intelligence satellites into deep space with a mass driver on the Moon can achieve >>petawatt/year capability, which would far exceed the best case value of Earth’s economy

700+ Falcon 9 flights. Landing a booster used to make headlines. Now it happens every few days and nobody blinks. Next: Starship Flight 15 in November, aiming to catch both the booster and the ship. Falcon made reuse routine. Starship makes it total. 🚀
Congrats to the @SpaceX team on over 700 Falcon 9 flights!

$SPCX fell 6% Friday. Same night, SpaceX flew its 700th Falcon 9 and stuck the landing on booster 1093's 18th flight. Next up: Starship Flight 15 in November, going for a catch of BOTH the booster and the ship. Stock's on sale. Rockets aren't. Buying or waiting? 🚀

Tesla Robotaxi now runs 6am to 2am. That's 20 hours a day. If you ever want your own car earning in the fleet, this is the number to watch. Every extra hour is more paid miles per car. Last gap: 2am to 6am. Who's betting it closes by spring?
