This tree is the last in my yard to go full autumn. Mid 70’s, chilly nights .. I could live in October forever.
This Carolina Wren snuck through a window and landed on my monitor. Luckily I was able to get him outside before Natty the Cat woke up from her nap.
Why is NFL Red Zone telecast a full 20 seconds ahead of the “live” broadcast? #Bengals
People clamoring for “Medicare for All” have no idea that Medicare isn’t free. Basic Medicare is for inpatient hospital care. You have to buy additional coverage for doctor visits, ER, and Rx

There's a lot of discourse about empty seats at MLB Playoff games. Here's a crazy take: what if this shit has just gotten too expensive?
A seat in the upper bowl is $200. Then there's taxes and fees. Then there's parking. Then the $12 hot dog. Then there's the $18 shit domestic beers. I love drinking beer at games, but do you ever stop and think about how much you just paid for a Coors Light? We are getting straight up skull fucked by concession prices.
Logistics can be one argument, sure. But I'm not going to sit here and breakdown getting to/from Tropicana because you've heard it a hundred times (unless you're Max from Pardon My Take who doesn't even know the Rays aren't in Tampa, moron.)
As a sports fan, obviously you want to see these stadiums packed and the atmospheres at their bets. But in the real world I think it's fair that some people don't want to spend half their paycheck going to a game.

Hey @WLWT why are you interrupting MLB Playoffs for a court case with zero local consequence? Is it the American Idol connection?
