There is nothing like coming back to Bangor after a long week at the Statehouse and getting a very nice letter and a 25,000 check from the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation for the save Dakin Pool project here in town. And even better former Bangor state senator and businessman Tom Sawyer said if we got 3k from Stephen King he would donate 3k. The pool on the eastside has been neglected or threatened with closures over the last 15 years. We are working with the City to make improvements there and make it more attractive for kids to go there and have fun. #thankyou #bangorhometownusa #bangorproud #community #stephenking
