They generally like good drainage, soil with a wetting agent, a bit of sun and low phosphorus fertiliser... ...then they go gangbusters!

Apparently a few emails was all it took for my local council to censor its citizens and stop them seeing this exhibition. #Gaza
So there we have it. Segal's new report openly accuses progressives of being the main vector of antisemitism in society. The corollary: the left and its calls for justice and equality must be defeated.

I hope my south coast geology class isn’t weathering you too much, that your tectonic plates aren’t upturned at the table of rock.

… the Shoalhaven Council today cancelled our small local gallery in Nowra from showing the art installation called Wall of Tears depicting the names of Gazian children who have been killed. I feel bereft that the Zionist tentacles can even reach our small coastal community.
Yeah…right. Arrogance writ large. @smh

Watching QT the a Treasurer says that to fill the big hole in their savings the Liberal party would have to stop indexation on pensions and social security payments. This is what happened under the Morrison govt my pension was frozen for several years. They’re not to be trusted

Ramping up refusal rates was always going to be a poor method of managing student numbers (as silly as caps). Far better to use a University entrance exam. That is more efficient, transparent & targets academic ability. abc.net.au/news/2026-10-30/l…

Many older Australians are struggling with rising expenses, leaving them unable to enjoy the retirement they planned for. Retirement cost figures show the age pension falls well short of what is needed for a comfortable lifestyle, particularly for renters. Retirees are calling for greater support to ensure older Australians can live with dignity. #agedcare abc.net.au/news/2026-10-30/r…

‘A majestic tract of land in FNQ that links wet tropics & world heritage rainforest, & contains headwaters that flow to the Great Barrier Reef, could be bought & protected by Xmas, after @BushHeritageAus raised more than $19m in private donations...’ 👏 theguardian.com/australia-ne…

Correct. We are a society not an economy. But 99% of those in #politics feel that #money is only thing that wins them votes. They are out of touch with humanity.

Day 3. Still no response by @SenSHenderson after her 'antisemitism' spray in the Senate. Is trashing small business @LiberalAus policy? #auspol
