Has anyone thought about what the latest intent to schedule 7-OH will do to all kratom products with the way it's written? It's an enforcement nightmare. I feel it will cause many states to ban all kratom products due to such a fine line between a legal or Schedule 1 substance.

Please go to 7hopealliance.org/federal to learn how you can take action to help save 7-OH & kratom. We need EVERYONE to advocate. If either has helped you with pain relief, harm reduction or your mental health, please do your part. Even 20-30 minutes a week can make a big impact.

The AKA and GKC are buying into this ruse and completely ignoring the consequences of this framework, which will likely lead to the demise of the legal kratom market itself.

When the DEA, HHS, and FDA said they wouldn't federally ban regular kratom, I think they knew that establishing threshold limits like this would force the states to do the dirty work for them. That way, they don't look like the bad guys.

7-OH advocates have been successful in getting more time for public comments on a safe threshold for the concentrated kratom alkaloid. The extension appears to have temporarily put a hold on a nationwide ban on 7-OH by the DEA. rebrand.ly/extension-comment…

.@MassGovernor please reconsider your ban on kratom. Hundreds of thousands of people in Massachusetts use it for chronic pain and substance abuse recovery. Without kratom, they WILL go to the illicit market for relief, where they risk fatal overdose and serious addiction with far more dangerous and adulterated opioids. As a alumni of Boston College and kratom researcher, these are not theoretical outcomes, these are ones my work supports and the body of literature in whole supports.

MASSACHUSETTS — 3 DAYS LEFT. On August 27, 2026, Massachusetts is set to place kratom into Schedule I under the emergency order. That means traditional botanical kratom the same natural leaf responsible adults have used for years is being swept into the same category instead of being responsibly regulated. I will keep saying this: regulation is not the same thing as prohibition. Require 21+. Require testing. Require accurate labeling. Hold bad actors accountable. Regulate concentrated and dangerous products appropriately. But turning responsible adults into criminals and destroying legitimate small businesses is NOT consumer protection. Massachusetts has 3 days. If you live there, please speak up. Call. Email. Share your story. Silence right now helps no one. 🌿 #KratomAdvocacy #Massachusetts #KeepKratomLegal #KratomCommunity #SmallBusiness #BotanicalKratom #ConsumerChoice

KRATOM ADVOCATES PLEASE PAY ATTENTION. 🌿 No, Georgia has NOT banned kratom yet. But after watching what is happening in other states, this is NOT the time to assume access is safe. Earlier this year, HB 968 was introduced in Georgia with language that would have placed mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine into Schedule I. The bill did not ultimately pass, but the conversation did not end there. Georgia now has a Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail Available Substances, and that committee is meeting again Friday, August 21. This is exactly when advocates need to show up. BEFORE a ban happens, not after. I absolutely support protecting kids. ✅ Make it 21+ ✅ Require independent testing ✅ Require accurate labeling ✅ Enforce manufacturing standards ✅ Hold bad actors accountable But we do NOT need to criminalize responsible adults or eliminate access to traditional botanical kratom to accomplish those things. DON’T PROHIBIT THE PLANT. If you live in Georgia and use kratom, now is the time to start paying attention, contacting your lawmakers and telling your story. And advocates in other states: please share this. We cannot wait until another emergency order or Schedule I announcement drops before people start speaking up. 🌿 Protect kratom. 🌿 Protect responsible adult access. 🌿 Regulation over prohibition. #Kratom #KeepKratomLegal #KratomAdvocacy #Georgia #GeorgiaKratom #KratomCommunity #BotanicalKratom #ProtectKratom #RegulateDontBan

The DEA used misleading and deceptive evidence to justify the banning of concentrated 7-OH kratom products. The nationwide ban could go into effect within days, even though the evidence to support it is anecdotal, at best. bit.ly/4xPW34s

Could the DEA/HHS be dropping emergency scheduling of kratom alkaloids 7-OH and mitraygnine pseudoindoxyl and novel derivatives MGM-15 and MGM-16 and having Congress pass a bill instead? See S.5383 "A bill to amend the Controlled Substances Act to schedule MGM-15 and MGM-16 as schedule I controlled substances, and to amend the controlled Substances Act to schedule synthetic 7-hydroxymitragynine, and Mitragynine Pseudoindoxyl, as a Schedule I above a specific threshold under the controlled substance act, and to expand enforcement actions against drug manufacturers and distributors of emerging synthetic opioids, commonly known as gas station heroin." congress.gov/bill/119th-cong…

It appears the Nevada Board of Pharmacy will be holding public comment on making kratom alkaloids mitragynine, 7-OH, and mitragynine psuedoindoxyl Schedule 1 drugs on September 3, 2026, in Reno Nevada. The last public comment date was 4/16/26 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I testified against scheduling all kratom alkaloids via Zoom. If this goes through, all kratom products could be made illegal in Nevada as soon as early October 2026. @KratomStory @OGKratomQueen @siennagsd @MelChambers987

This is an urgent message for all of our Massachusetts customers. You have ONLY 13 full days remaining to purchase kratom before Massachusetts places it into Schedule I. This is no longer something that is simply being discussed or proposed. It is happening. The emergency regulation has been published, and Massachusetts is moving forward with temporarily placing kratom into Schedule I under state law. If you rely on natural kratom, please do not wait until the last minute to order. We want to make sure there is enough time to process and ship your order before the change takes effect. This one is incredibly personal for me. I was born in Massachusetts. I still have family there, including my own father, a veteran who relies on kratom. We also have so many longtime Massachusetts customers who have trusted us for years. It breaks my heart that people are being given such little time to prepare. 13 full days. That's it. Please make sure you have what you need, and please continue contacting your Massachusetts representatives and officials. Tell them your story and let them hear directly from the people this decision affects. Thank you for trusting us and supporting our small business all these years. ❤️

No, Mac, what the Feds are considering has nothing to do w/ science. If it did, they wouldn’t propose banning a substance while leaving its precursor legal. Congrats on MA following KS, TN, & so many other states & cities down the road the AKA has led them by vilifying 7-OH!
