The first piece of the puzzle is now live.
Native RWAs on HyperCore were only the beginning.
The next step is being built behind the scenes.
Soon.
Gmelt.
Ondo tokenized stocks can now be bridged to Hyperliquid’s HyperEVM via @LayerZero_core.
Spot positions unlock advanced strategies for perp traders on applicable markets, such as basis trades and delta-neutral hedging.
@Meltfinance and @felixprotocol are among the first HyperEVM protocols to integrate Ondo tokenized stocks and ETFs.
Ondo finance didn’t just solve tokenization, it solved trust.
Beyond smart contracts, it built the legal, regulatory, and custody framework institutions actually rely on.
The result: 59% market share and $2.9B TVL in tokenized equities.
But assets without a venue don’t trade, they sit.
That’s where @HyperliquidX comes in: a 24/7, institutional-grade venue with real liquidity and price discovery ($1.4B daily RWA volume).
Melt is the missing link.
@OndoFinance assets, natively listed on HyperCore via HIP-1.
Ondo built the asset.
Hyperliquid built the market.
Melt connects both.
The distribution problem is solved.
Gmelt.
DeFi didn’t fail because of hacks.
It failed because there was nothing truly worth trading.
Think about it. What did the average DeFi user actually have access to?
Governance tokens with no real cash flows. Memecoins. Yield farming on assets that existed only to generate more yield.
An ecosystem looping in on itself, creating value out of nothing… and eventually returning to nothing.
The smartest capital in the world saw this and walked away.
Not because the infrastructure was flawed. Quite the opposite.
The rails were exceptional.
Permissionless settlement. 24/7 markets. Unmatched composability.
In many ways, DeFi built something more advanced than TradFi itself.
But infrastructure without real assets?
It’s just plumbing with nowhere to flow.
The real question was never: can we build better financial rails?
Cause its already here.
@HyperliquidX proved it: with $1.4B in daily RWA volume, largely driven by commodities and equities, not crypto.
The moment real assets appeared, smart capital followed.
So the real question became: what do we put on those rails?
@OndoFinance answered it: Tokenized equities, Real securities, Full economic exposure; Price and dividends, brought on-chain.
And Melt Finance delivers it: Ondo assets, natively listed on HyperCore via HIP-1.
Real assets, on the best rails ever built.
DeFi didn’t fail. It was just waiting for something real to trade.
Now it’s here.
Gmelt.
Imagine holding stocks, gold, or bonds directly on-chain, not as synthetic exposure, but as native spot assets.

Now imagine being able to borrow against them, generate yield, trade at any time, and even build advanced strategies on top, all from a single venue, without intermediaries.
This is the direction Melt is pushing toward 🧵
8. New financial primitives.
Once RWAs exist natively on-chain, they can serve as the foundation for entirely new markets.
Binary options and prediction markets are a natural extension. Users can take positions on specific outcomes, whether a stock reaches a certain price, a commodity breaks a key level, or a macro event unfolds in a particular way.
These instruments offer clearly defined risk and reward, settled transparently on-chain, and open the door to a new class of financial interactions.
Melt is not just about bringing real-world assets on-chain: it is about redefining what those assets can do once they are there.
Every position becomes composable. Every asset remains self-custodial. And every layer of financial activity can be built on top of a single, unified infrastructure.
The vision is still unfolding, but the core primitive is already live.
From here, the evolution is not a question of possibility but of adoption.
Job’s not finished.
We’re pleased to confirm that Melt is now live, and that QQQM is currently tradable on Hyperliquid.
You can access the market by selecting “All” on the Hyperliquid frontend and searching for “QQQM”.
Alternatively, you can go directly here: app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade/QQ…
From our side, everything is fully operational. The market is currently supported by approximately $200k–$250k of liquidity in the order book, actively managed with tight spreads to ensure efficient execution and an optimal trading experience for users.
For clarity, Melt assets are issued under the HIP-1 standard, which is the native spot framework on Hyperliquid, and not HIP-3. This allows assets to live directly on the L1 with a fully native spot structure.
More broadly, our objective is to bridge the existing gap between spot and perpetual markets, by bringing high-quality, real-world-backed assets into the spot layer and enabling a more complete and efficient trading environment.
We will continue to monitor and adjust liquidity parameters in real time to maintain depth and pricing quality as activity grows.
Please feel free to reach out if you need any additional information.
