Celebrating @MemorialElm’s Teachers of the Year! @Ms_Lopez23 - Campus Teacher of the Year @MsAramburo - ESL Teacher of the Year @Dlopez10uh - Bilingual Teacher of the Year This weekend, our honorees were recognized by the district, but PTO had to celebrate them first. 🎉 Happy Birthday to @MemorialElm’zs amazing 4th Grade Dual Language teacher, Mr. Lopez! ✨ When he’s not inspiring young learners in the classroom, you might find him watching sports, hiking, building with LEGOs, or cheering on @UHouston! Happy Birthday, Mr. Lopez! 🥳

Happy birthday to @MemorialElm’s new music teacher, Ms. Naidoo! When she’s not bringing the joy of music to Memorial, you might find her painting while listening to music, working on a 1,000-piece puzzle, hanging out with her cats, or playing chess. We are so excited to have Ms. Naidoo as part of the Memorial family and hope her birthday is filled with all her favorite things!  Happy Birthday, Ms. Naidoo! 🥳🎂✨

🎉 Happy Birthday @MsRosyPartida ! 🎉 Help us celebrate our amazing Kindergarten Dual Language teacher, Ms. Partida! We hope your day is as wonderful as you are! 🎉

Working 9 to 5 takes a little extra fuel. ☕🍎💙 Enter the PTO “Pick Me Up” Cart, rolling through @MemorialElm with coffee, fresh fruit, snacks, and a few well deserved treats for the people who spend their days teaching, helping, encouraging, organizing, and caring for our Mustangs. These little moments of appreciation may seem simple, but they are one of our favorite ways to remind Memorial’s teachers and staff that their hard work is seen and appreciated. And they are possible because of you. Every donation to us helps us do more than fund programs for our students. It also gives us opportunities to take care of the incredible people who take care of our kids every day. Thank you to our donors for helping us roll a little happiness through the halls. ❤️ #HISDMemorialPTO #TeacherAppreciation #SupportOurSchool

🎉 Wishing @MemorialElm’s PE teacher, Coach Yanez, a very Happy Birthday! 🎉 We hope your birthday is filled with creativity, fun, and plenty of your favorite things. Happy Birthday, Coach Yanez! 🥳

🎉 Happy Birthday to @MemorialElm’s wonderful 1st Grade teacher, Mr. Floyd! ✨ Help us celebrate Mr. Floyd today! When he’s not in the classroom, he enjoys hitting the gym, running, exploring nature, visiting amusement parks, and spending time outdoors. Mr. Floyd, we hope your birthday is filled with all your favorite things and plenty of time to celebrate! We’re so glad you’re part of the Memorial community! ❤️💙

Another year. Another A. 💙🐴❤️ We are incredibly proud to celebrate that @MemorialElm has once again earned an A rating from the Texas Education Agency, a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and heart our students, teachers, staff, and families bring to campus every single day. This year, Memorial also earned three distinctions: ✅ Academic Achievement in Science ✅ Top 25%: Comparative Academic Growth ✅ Postsecondary Readiness. These achievements represent so much more than a letter grade. They reflect students who are growing, teachers who continually raise the bar, staff members who support our children in countless ways, and families who believe deeply in our school. It takes an entire community to create a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive, and we are so proud of the community behind Memorial Elementary. Congratulations, Mustangs! Another year as an A-rated campus looks pretty good on you. #HISDMemorialPTO #BlessedWithTheBest #WeAreMemorialProud #MagicalMemorialMoments #ItTakesAVillage

🎉 Happy Birthday to @MemorialElm’s wonderful Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Niño! As a @ibpyp teacher, she’s also always looking for more fun & engaging literacy and math activities to bring into her classroom—because learning should be hands-on, creative, and fun! We hope your birthday is filled with creativity, sunshine, and all the things that bring you joy!

Love seeing our @MemorialElm teachers and admin bonding over summer 🙌🏼
