This morning I was slapped with a very harsh reality check and a reminder of what truly matters in this world. It's easy to get caught up in our day to day, focusing on that next deadline, that next item on our to do list, the next goal post to pass and it's so easy to not slow down and let the moments we are living fly by without really experiencing them. To squander the limited time that we have together, with our friends or with our family. Don't do this. Take the time. Pause. Be present. Call that friend or family member, because you never know when you won't be able to again.  Be kind to each other, love fiercely and know you’re never alone.
