The worst thing is she will probably win anyways because the votercattle here are extra special.
Fraudulent in Medicaid and fraudulent in their communications, too. How emboldened to use AI to fake a video knowing that @axios and sickos at Democrats @ORDems @RepDexterOR will repeat the lies to falsely smear targets as โ€œracists.โ€

This may be the most obvious but also most sad example of go woke go broke. They allowed deranged woketoids to have control over their most recent games writing and it showed so badly that even the leftists cringed. Veilguard had the effort of a good game, wrapped in pronoun-police stupidity released at a time when that policing was already waning in cultural value. So of course, it missed its sale goals by half. Company death by tone deafness. Hopefully other studios will learn from their mistakes, but they probably won't.

New video up on a USA politician ( Nafisa Fai ) using AI to fabricate evidence of events that didn't happen, and how the mainstream media is fully willing to cover for politicians that they like when they do this. Welcome to Post-Truth. youtube.com/watch?v=mfluZf-gโ€ฆ

New Video Soonโ„ข
The Nafisa Fai story gets even more interesting. The @OregonJournProj seems to have been taken in by claims by Washington County Chair candidate Nafisa Fai that a video and a screen shot of her speaking in front of an upside down American flag was a deep fake. Although video evidence shows multiple speakers speaking in front of that upside down flag at the same event, the candidate submitted a photo to OJP that she claims is a 'clip' from the actual event, and the OJP published a scathing article claiming the original to be a deep fake pushed in "the right wing universe". The only problem is that the photo submitted by the candidate appears to be the fake. And not a very good one at that. According to OpenAI, the photo submitted by Fai and touted by OJP as the original contains a SynthID watermark identifying it as originating from OpenAI. Even an untrained eye can see that the photo submitted by the candidate is edited. Notice the flag at the bottom left that matches the original shot, and the shadow above the candidate's image and name on the lower screen where the replacement content wasn't perfectly aligned with the original. The stars are misaligned as well. To be fair, OJP doesn't usually get fooled, but it sure looks like they were taken in this time. Worse, what does all of this say about this anti-American candidate who wants to lead Washington County?

As someone who LIVES IN WASHINGTON COUNTY (UNFORTUNATELY) I should point out that this photo is extremely inorganic.

Nafisa Fai literally used AI to fix the flag and now they're calling the real one AI

Ah yes, open up a dialogue with the barbarian hordes and the power of your words will instantly cleanse them of evil. That has totally worked every time it has been tried in history.

I've been rereading the Harry Potter books with my partner before bed and yeah, I have to give it to the chuds--Malfoid fixes two of the biggest problems with the book. It's been discussed to death, but the characterization of House Slytherin really is the weakest part of the entire series. Rowling clearly doesn't intend for the house to be pure evil, but all the named students are unpleasant or cruel, the most sympathetic adult Slytherins are portrayed as at best flawed anti-heroes, and by the seventh book literally every Slytherin student leaves before the battle of Hogwarts (either to join with Voldemort or stand aside). At the same time, the Harry & Ginny pairing was never satisfying. Ginny's character growth is largely offscreen (offpage) and their romance is continually sidelined in favor of adventure. You get the sense that Rowling wasn't willing to take any more risks with Ginny after the Chamber of Secrets, so she feels flat even when compared to side characters like Neville or Luna. By the end of the series Harry has had a bunch of different love interests and they've all been dismissed for one reason or another, so there's no time to add a new character or bring back an old one. It feels like Ginny just wins by process of elimination. Making Malfoy the titular character's love interest is perfect. Malfoy and Harry make good foils for one another because they are actually very similar characters. Both are prodigal sons grappling with family legacy and uncertain destiny. The books show a clear path to reconciliation, but never take it. Their pairing would demonstrate how students needn't be defined by their house and creates a symbolic break between the previous generation of Slytherins and the next.
