At approximately 11:30 a.m., MIPD responded to a 911 caller who stated they had just been robbed at gunpoint near the Mercer Island Thrift Store. No one was injured and the suspect fled. Detectives are following several leads in this ongoing investigation.

Police and Fire are currently responding to a three-vehicle collision in the 4600 block of Island Crest Way. All NB traffic on Island Crest Way is currently stopped while Police and Fire attend to the occupants of the vehicles. Tows have been requested.

CLEAR: This incident on eastbound I-90 in the Mercer Island tunnel has cleared. All lanes are open. However, traffic backup is over 3 miles, so expect delays as traffic moves through the area. This is from the I-90 bridge just west of the incident.

UPDATE #5: WB I-90 is still fully closed and diverting traffic to Island Crest Way after an earlier crash just west of the #MercerIsland Tunnel. The backup remains about 2.5 miles. Please continue to use alternate routes and expect lengthy delay.

UPDATE: On the EB I-90 off-ramp to I-405 in #Bellevue, the collision is still partially blocking the ramp. Police, Fire, and the Incident Response Team are on scene. This could take a while, so expect long delays and drive with caution. @mercergov @BvueTrans
