Congratulations hon
This morning, at the 6th AU Specialised Committee on Communications and ICT in Libreville, I assumed the Chair for a 2-year mandate. This assignment reflects Ghana's position under President @JDMahama as a dependable force in actualising the African dream. I am grateful to my Colleague Ministers for the trust reposed in me and remain confident that over the next two years, we will work to advance the ICT sector across our Continent. For God, Country and Africa. 🦁🇬🇭

President Mahama finally meets Putin. The composure after greeting and simply moving on is just masterclass. Aligning with the BRICS is the wisest move by any nation at this time. Nice stuff!

My lovely president ❤️
LIVE | President John Mahama has arrived at the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) in Moscow, where he is expected to receive an honorary doctorate from the university. He was welcomed with the traditional Russian “bread and salt” ceremony, a high cultural honour reserved for esteemed guests. By custom, the guest breaks off a piece of bread, dips it in salt and eats it, and refusing is considered impolite.

The most beautiful video on the internet today. A female student won the overall best student in Accra Girls and was gifted plenty of money from the wards. Remember the name, Gabriela Adobea Asomani 👏🏽🔥

Empowering the next Generation Through Education , Arts , Culture and Community Tourism Development , my visit to Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School in Kumawu. In fact I strongly believe that sustainable tourism development must be rooted in community participation, cultural preservation, education and strategic partnerships. The Ghana Tourism Authority was invited and I had the pleasure of meeting the District Chief Executive, Hon. Kwasi Amankwaa, and engaging with students of Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School, encouraging them to pursue excellence, embrace opportunities and believe in their potential. I wish to specially commend Professor Yaw Nyarko of New York University for his remarkable commitment to education and community development. For over 15 years, his initiatives have supported academic excellence through scholarships, mentorship and opportunities for deserving students , his contribution to the establishment of the Bodomase Palace Museum and Art Gallery, preserving the rich history, traditions and cultural heritage of the community for future generations. #GhanaTourismAuthority #DomesticTourism #SekyereKumawu #CommunityTourism #CulturalHeritage

President Mahama was in Bechem over the weekend to inspect progress of work on this 6,000-chicken-per-hour Meat Processing Factory being developed by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture as part of the broader effort to attain self-sufficiency in poultry production. The contractor assures that works will be completed in March next year, having already attained a 50% completion rate. All equipment have been procured and ready for installation once the buildings are completed.

Footage of a heated exchange at Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast, 1968, between the students and three Black American teenagers visiting to reconnect with their roots. When the Americans compared household servants to slavery, the Ghanaians fired back: “That’s an insult to Africa!”
