Vincent Masekesa did pretty good today. He was making his T20I debut today, bowled three overs, gave away only 21 runs and took a wicket. Imagine, at the age of 29, he only has 4 test matches and 1 T20I international appearance under his belt.
Last time Wesley Madhevere scored half century in T20Is was way back in 2022 against Bangladesh. He has played 55 T20I internationals since then.
It has been clearly visible who has been underperforming constantly for last 6 years. Madhevere & Marumani both have been consistently backed and playing with over 200 international caps under their belt. Their batting averages in any format against Full member nations dont go past 15. Yet if you point out their underwhelming numbers you will be called racist.

Its not about supporting or non supporting. Such one sided- games against world no 3 side isnt gonna help the womans side rather down their morale. Progression has to be step by step. First beat likes of Ireland, Scotland, Nepal, Thailand consistently and then face world no 3.
Why on earth did BCCI arrange this series in first place. Should have played and given opportunity to likes of Ireland, Scotland, Nepal, Thai woman instead

I can’t remember the last time I watched Zimbabwe play. Not a single ball from the ongoing UAE tour, nor even a complete over against Australia. That’s how disillusioned I’ve become with Zimbabwe cricket, thanks to poor squad selections, the stubborn refusal to drop underperforming passengers, and one defeat after another.
It almost feels like certain players are deliberately being retained to show fans that their anger on social media means absolutely nothing to those in charge. As if the message is clear: your opinions don’t matter, and neither does your support.
There was a time when I’d wait months to watch the Men in Red, following every game closely, no matter how occupied I was. To go from that to this says everything.

Madhevere & Marumani have combined scored 23 runs today and eventually secured their place in the playing X1 for next 23 T20Is as well. 😆
More and more Zimbabwe cricket lovers must raise their voice against racist cunts who spit racial slurs and target us cricket lovers for speaking our hearts out.
If this issue isnt resolved then we are not going to win any matches. The Wessy, Masakadza, Tsika issue must be resolved immediately. @ZimCricketv should drop players who have bad averages first then put the ones out of form on the bench.

The only other alternative is calling @cricketworldcup and log multiple complaints including @FrankMawoza1 who is @frank_mawoza harassing Zimbabweans using racial slurs but still employed by @ZimCricketv
