I wouldn’t pay an X subscription to say idiotic things in public.
Some of you need to learn to keep that garbage to 140 characters.
You’d at least learn how to deliver signal.
Adulting is realising that you can’t take anything at face value.
I bet these Norwegians celebrated this moment only to realise the stuff up later like the Germans.
There's a line in the song Big Yellow Taxi goes "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone."
In Sept 2024, Norwegian residents found that out the hard way, discovering too late that Bitcoin mining had for years been keeping their power prices 20% lower.
When a Bitcoin mining operation left the grid, local power company Noranett instantly increased prices to residents, to compensate for the revenue shortfall.
The news was covered by government state owned media organization NRK (analogous to BBC)
Bitcoin mining has been found in multiple studies to be able to use energy that would otherwise be wasted, which contributes to lower electricity bills.
This is one of a number of cases where Bitcoin mining has direct lowered electricity prices. I'll be sharing some other documented cases this week.
Oh my dear Peter.
Don’t you know that Bitcoin miners are grid stabilisers & the only thing standing between you & electrical black outs from your power utilities?
Electrical grids need balance, Bitcoin provides it so that gold miners can continue playing with dirt for rocks.😉
.@JoeSquawk also claimed Bitcoin has value because it's proof of work. But the work it proves itself has no value. If I can prove I dug a hole and filled it back up with the same dirt, what value did I create? Gold mining is valuable work, as the result is usable physical gold.
When you run a Bitcoin node, it is YOURS.
YOU decide what you want on it.
I don’t want garbage on my node so I act accordingly, that’s it!
I don’t need to consult, argue, or try to convince strangers.
I can run both Knots & Core…then dump the unaligned client.
MY CHOICE!😎
The $30 trillion mcap makes it seem like gold won but it is nerfed by its physicality & abundance.
Which means it is ONLY $30 trillion because you can’t move it inexpensively & there’s a shit load more of it out there.
A weak SoV & terrible MoE for global trade. BTC is neither.

20,000 cryptocurrencies.
One has no CEO, no foundation, no pre-mine, no insiders.
The other 19,999 are auditioning for a job that closed in 2009.
People like @nic_carter & @callebtc have communities that are throwing around “word salad” as consensus.
Which is weird. There is a way to actually debunk this.
Even if you just critique the preface.
Nobody has said ANYTHING.
“yOu cAn’t dEbuNk wOrD sALaDs”
Give us something!
Reminds me of the time @lopp embarrassed himself by criticising @JasonPLowery before ACTUALLY reading the book.
OGs are just weird when it comes to people challenging their beliefs.
They ALWAYS start with ad hominem attacks.🤦🏻♂️
Just freakin DEBUNK & stop acting like kids!
A public park is for everyone.
Until HIV+ drug addicts start dropping needles where kids play.
You reason like a 3 year old.
That’s why you are definitely NOT Satoshi Nakamoto.
Let me be precise about what decentralization actually entails. When you see arguments around BTC—claims that it should only be used for cash, that certain transactions are “spam,” or that particular uses are invalid—that is not neutrality. That is control.
The moment a group can assert how the system must be used, define acceptable behaviour, or constrain implementation, you are no longer looking at an open system. You are looking at a controlled one.
A system is not permissionless if participants can be told they are using it “wrong,” or if their activity can be curtailed based on subjective rules. True decentralization means there is no authority capable of imposing those constraints—no gatekeeper dictating form, function, or purpose.
People who believe in “the security budget” are so annoying.
They think they have “discovered” a fatal flaw.
The freakin subsidy going to zero has a formula IN THE WHITEPAPER!🤣
#Bitcoin
Every single time #Bitcoin “crashes” in worthless pieces of paper, the retardation escalates.
Ya’ll are such an embarrassment to the progress of civilisation.

Lol...bitcoin "at these levels" no longer offers life-changing gains? Silver's market cap is ~2.5× bitcoin's right now, and gold's is ~18× higher. And both have more elastic supplies. Bitcoin's next 10x will be its most hated. Stay humble, stack sats, and ignore these retards.
#Bitcoiners are attacking #Silver daily right now. The jealousy is obvious.
They’re actively trying to convince their followers not to buy silver stocks. It’s both funny and shortsighted. Silver equities are shaping up to be one of the absolute best trades for the foreseeable future.
This window of opportunity only lasts a few more years. Take advantage of it while it exists.
For your own good, unfollow #Bitcoin “gurus”. Their messaging is coordinated, self-serving, and designed to fill your head with nonsense, not to help you build real wealth.
Bitcoin was the trade of the decade, but at over +800,000% the easy money is gone. Returns diminish over time, and at these levels the bubble no longer offers life-changing gains. That era is over. That’s just reality.
The era of life-changing gains in silver stocks is only beginning. But just like Bitcoin, it won’t last forever. Everything moves in cycles, and this is shaping up to be a commodity cycle.
Play it. Enjoy it. Embrace it.
Don’t let ego, noise, or low-IQ clowns keep you out of the trade of the decade.
What is the alternative?
A dollar that’s bleeding 10% of purchasing power a year?
Even if you can join the AI “gold rush”, you will still need to figure out where to get 20-45% CAGR with minimal effort from you & zero maintenance costs, security or fees.
Don’t be a fool…
Hard truth.
Bitcoin won’t make you rich anymore.
It isn't where asymmetry lives anymore.
It's no longer a vehicle for life-changing upside. It’s now a vehicle for the wealthy to compound capital through cycles. Late-cycle Bitcoin buyers aren’t early adopters, they’re liquidity providers. It now makes the wealthy wealthier.
You're welcome.
