Experienced the new signages of Kolkata Metro Blue Line lately. Looks good to me! 🤩🤩 Just does the job in a bold and loud way. Being installed between Tollygunge and Shahid Khudiram now, will be done till Dakshineswar later. Thoughts?

Do that and watch all the traffic moving to Metro. Good for managing traffic congestion.

Dear @metrorailwaykol, you have world-class facilities like Washing Plants on Purple Line. Aren't they enough to make rakes clean, if not spotless? This is MR-418, fungus grew on the walls whr people keep their head. Is this your "Swachhata Hi Seva"? Cleanliness is bare minimum.

Not control centre. It is for commercial property development like retail stores, food court, etc. Orange Line Operation Control Centre is available only at Central Park Carshed, nowhere else.

@icfindrlys significantly improved the quality & aesthetics of new Kolkata Metro rakes. 9 such rakes out of 20 800 series for Orange & Purple Lines delivered with better interiors. Next, 37 ICF rakes of entirely different exterior & interior design for @RailVikas will be built.

Maidan is proposed to be underground, hence environmental impact is negligible.

They won't be coming to Maidan. They will be coming to SDAH by RRTS, & take Green Line. This is where inter-operability of all RRTS corridors plays the game. None of the corridors are proposed to terminate at Maidan. Trains can shift and continue from one line to other. Like DEL

Dear, let me clarify. All the st. & alignment are planned on the lines of int'l standards, keeping in mind lesser land acquisition. Maidan is already having Purple Line Victorial Station, and proposed HSR station. Hence Army will give land temporarily for sure. Underground, ofc.
