The next phase of Beds for Babies: A Safe Space to Sleep is live!
Today, South Yorkshire’s Mayor Oliver Coppard opened the first of four pilot schemes at Mexborough Family Hub in Doncaster.
These pilots will go beyond providing beds—they’ll support families with free bedtime bags, including toothbrushes and books, to promote good sleep hygiene and wellbeing.
The pilots will trial different ways of working with disadvantaged families to build trust with parents, and provide additional support that could lead to better health outcomes for children.
More pilots will launch across the region soon.

Mexborough Councillors have just been advised by @MyDoncaster that we have been awarded funding for Doncaster North from Levelling Up Fund 3, based on our submission for LUF2.
This is circa £15m to be spent in Mexborough which is fantastic news!

Doncaster North LUF3 awarded!
It is good news that 1 bid was successful & I welcome it. We will need to review as it has been over a year since submitted. #DoncasterIsGreat
I am however disappointed that our other bid for Edlington has not been given the same support.

Bhatia SMILE gave us a challenge to take part in a creative cake decorating competition. The entries were very difficult to judge for @LordGibbons but “Secret Garden” was chosen, created by Bhatia SMILE.
