First-click and last-click attribution credit different points in the user journey with different implications for affiliates. insertaffiliate.com/blog/fir…
Black Friday is three weeks today. Running a deal on your app? Tell your creators now, not on the morning. They plan posts ahead. Give them the dates, the price and what their followers get, and they can build a post around it.
Creators want fair credit. Founders want predictable revenue. But attribution tools treat mobile like web traffic - and it doesn’t work. If you’ve worked with creators before, what’s been the hardest part of tracking their real value? Photo by Noémi Macavei-Katócz - Unsplash.
Messaged 50 creators about your app and heard nothing back? That isn't an answer yet. 50 is too small a sample to know your reply rate, whether it's creator outreach, sales emails or ads. Keep sending, and change one thing in your message at a time.
Can't afford to pay creators upfront? You can still find them. It's harder when all you offer is a cut of sales, but plenty of creators will take that deal, especially those just starting out. No budget isn't a reason to skip creators.
User subscribes on day 31? Traditional attribution gives the affiliate nothing. Lifetime attribution fixes this. I wrote about how. insertaffiliate.com/blog/lif…
From this week I'm posting here most weekdays about one thing: paying creators to grow subscription apps. Rates, deals, links and codes, payouts, and what I learn running Insert Affiliate. If you build apps, or make content about them, follow along.

People talk about downloads like they’re the goal. They’re not. What matters is revenue you can trace back to something real — and actionable. Have you ever chased a metric that felt impressive but didn’t actually move the needle?

A partner in Brazil asked a simple question: can the platform speak their affiliates' language? A few weeks later, it does. Insert Affiliate is now fully available in Brazilian Portuguese, from the dashboard to the docs.

Recruiting affiliates used to mean spreadsheets, DMs and guesswork. I wanted it to be one screen. Creator Discovery is live: search creators by niche and engagement, shortlist, and reach out, all inside Insert Affiliate.
New feature: Affiliates can now connect their TikTok & YouTube accounts to Insert Affiliate 🎬 Their promotional posts sync automatically — so you can finally see what content your affiliates are creating. Learn more → insertaffiliate.com/blog/aff…
Has anyone else been locked out of their account with @British_Airways and received no explanation or response to their queries over the past few months? Their automated email says they will review it within two weeks but I can't get hold of them at all, over a month on
