I’m outraged and disgusted to hear that, once again, shots have been fired at a Jewish girls’ school in Toronto.
These antisemitic, hateful attacks have no place in Ontario. I’m confident that the police will conduct a full and thorough investigation to ensure justice is served to those responsible.

I visited West Park Healthcare Centre (@westparkhcc) with MPP @MichaelFordTO, which opened its doors this past spring! This state-of-the-art facility provides rehabilitation and continuing care for patients with lung disease, stroke, musculoskeletal issues and more. Part of West Park’s campus of care, which includes an LTC and reactivation centre, this facility serves as a great asset to Toronto and GTA residents with post-acute care needs.
Thank you for the tour!

The recent acts of arson and vandalism directed against Toronto’s Jewish community are deeply disturbing and unacceptable. I’m pleased to see the Toronto Police Service is taking these acts seriously and is working to identify the people responsible.
Let’s come together in support of our Jewish friends and neighbours as we stand against anti-semitism and hate.

I recently visited the site of Highway 413, where work is already well underway as we prepare to start construction next year!
Crews are on site, drilling and testing the soil, and they’re already designing bridges and interchanges as they map out the best route forward. I can’t wait to be back in the coming months to see even more progress that will help get drivers moving across the GTA.

A few months ago, @MichaelFordTO and I hosted Canadian Armed Forces members, along with leaders from Canada’s veteran organizations to discuss our plan to initiate the most ambitious #RemembranceDay program in Ontario schools in a generation.
We hosted them again to honour the 15,000 Canadians who stormed Juno Beach and helped to literally change human history.
They fought in defence of democracy.
They sacrificed for our freedom.
They will remain the greatest generation. Lest We Forget. 🇨🇦

The TDSB just received a $300M replenishment of maintenance funding, meaning they’re sitting on $599M that can only be spent on the renewal of our schools.
It is not surprising that the @OntarioNDP would defend the indefensible instead of standing up to @tdsb to do their job & invest in the improvement of schools.

Today would have been my brother Rob’s 55th birthday.
He always fought for the people and stood up for the little guy, and we miss him every day.
I hope you can join us tonight at 6 PM as we honour Rob’s legacy with the unveiling of the newly renamed Rob Ford Stadium in Etobicoke at Centennial Park.

Our appeal to all Canadians: do not be bystanders.
For @MPPKerzner, @MichaelFordTO, @laurasthornhill, @MacLeodLisa, and myself — we ask every Canadian to stand strong against antisemitic hate and stand firm in defence of our nation's values.

This is a gross display of antisemitism. It’s beyond belief that anyone could be this hateful.
Every student deserves to feel safe at school. If you have any information, please contact Toronto police. These cowards need to be found and brought to justice.

Today, we join Israelis around the world in celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel Independence Day. Ontario and Israel have a close and important relationship, made even stronger thanks to Ontario’s vibrant Jewish community.
Today, we also remember the many challenges Israel has faced throughout its existence, including the horrific attacks of Oct. 7, as we pray for the safe return of the hostages and for peace in the region.
