I recently presented my Master’s thesis along with @shweta_kapur_l at Oakland’s 8th Annual Graduate Student Research Conference. Had fun discussing @BalanceTracking research with the campus community. I’m super appreciative of the support from @docgoble to be able to do this!

This two-legged fox has been spotted in Derbyshire, UK.
The Derbyshire Wildlife Trust said that they never saw anything like this in the wild before: yet the animal looks relatively healthy & appears to have adapted to life on two legs

Presented is an example of the use of surface EMG with the movements of a squat and a run which I particularly found interesting because of its application to sport.

#exs3030 I liked this video because it shows how EMG is used in a real clinical setting to asses muscle strength, and using that information to further rehabilitation, in this case rehabilitation from a spinal cord injury. youtube.com/watch?v=QfWhYuJ5…

This is a great video that is provided, it also includes a good read of what the EMG is doing in this video. I thought it was pretty cool that they used a EMG while having muscle fatigue. This could be great if athletes don’t already use this. #EXS3030 backyardbrains.com/experimen…
