Spoke to Matt Lawlor this morning on @CBSSportsGolazo and he couldn’t have been any classier. What a guy. Tremendously happy for him and his Fleetwood side! Moments like these are what makes football in England so special.

This is moronic. Absolving them because it’s not something obvious like PEDs is hilarious. Cheating is cheating. Financial doping over a decade is just as deliberate, thought out and deceitful as giving players PEDs. That’s the point.
Comparing Manchester City to Lance Armstrong is absolutely miles off it. 🤣 He PHYSICALLY doped and gave him an unfair advantage that no amount of training or equipment could match. It wasn’t a case as simple as him having a better bike or equipment to gain a slight advantage. City did not dope or use PEDs. The advantage came from (compared to some clubs but not others) more investment and also just far better investment in the squad, infrastructure, coaching etc. essentially building a better ‘bike’ in the process and then using it more effectively than other teams on the whole.

So good to be back at the Emirates and working with @Arsenal! ❤️ Interesting addition from last season: in the underground car park on the way to where the players head in, they’ve added a long banner of our titles that the team coaches will pass. Lovely touch.

Had a blast hopping on @ArsenalVPodcast today talking about our performance yesterday vs Bayern. Saka injury the obvious downer, but lots of positives to take from it!

Once again, all this chat about us not playing good football, or even not being ABLE to play good football, is absolute nonsense.

Lol absolutely. We played arguably the most attractive brand of football in Europe from 2008-2011 but realistically we were never in with a proper chance of winning the league or advancing far in Europe. Also this current side would demolish that era of Arsenal. Just saying.
I grew up on this but I'm supposed to be happy and accept shaky 1-0 wins where we struggle to break the opposition down for 80 minutes and scam a goal in the last 10

Can’t recommend @LatteFirm’s latest pod on Man City’s charges and possible repercussions enough. Super clear info, all of it relevant, no club bias either. Best hour I’ve heard on the matter. Proud of you my man! @fkhanage 🙌 open.spotify.com/episode/1Vw…

With all the volley/half-volley chat going on right now, THIS is a proper half-volley 👏 (Terrible golf fan etiquette obv)
This is so funny to watch.

Es sin lugar a dudas el Premio Puskas 2026. Está fuera de discusión. No insistan.
Abrimos Hilo 🧵👇

The irony being this has always been, and will forever be, a half-volley.
This is a wonderful strike. It has never been, and will never be, a half-volley.

Took the opportunity to give David Raya some love yesterday because it’s the least he deserves! The only thing I regret is that I shouldn’t have said “one of the best in the world”. I should have just said it how it is… he is the best in the world. And I don’t think it’s close.
"If Thibaut Courtois never existed, David Raya would be the best goalkeeper in the world." @MikeLahoud is full of praise for Arsenal's David Raya after yet another sensational performance between the sticks 🧤

Am I the only one who thinks he’s always had that? Maybe we’re just seeing it more because he’s playing deeper now and we’re more fluid in attack. I’m guessing that’s also in large part down to Odegaard being fit and us playing to his rhythm?
He's unlocked Rodri progressive passing. It's over
