If your loved one is incarcerated, participate in these calls. Look at all the issues going on in these facilities (which stay in the news), and you know it's not as they claim. I can tell you as a mother & wife who has seen what happens inside & after incarceration.....please!

More than 50% of people in state prisons are punished at least 1x/year for misconduct, and almost all of them face harsh sanctions like solitary confinement.
Prison discipline is a system of petty tyranny with devastating consequences.

They want to continue funding their slave system called prison! Of course they aren't going to have this kind of surveillance in rich, white, communities. They do crime, too.....just on a different scale & they don't want to tip it because it will expose them & their boys!

One former nurse at a Virginia prison recalls the facility as "breaking the law every day" as a result of understaffing
Prisons & jails cannot even keep up in the era of mass incarceration. Why are they still locking people up if they can't care for them?

Understaffing is a real problem in prisons. They've offered raises, built new facilities & lowered employment requirements – still, nothing's worked
Why? Because understaffing is not a recruitment issue. It's an untreatable symptom of mass incarceration
