I asked the Foreign Secretary whether it would be legal if a foreign power accused the British Prime Minister of breaking its domestic laws, bombed the UK, killed dozens of British citizens and abducted the PM and his wife in the middle of the night. She refused to answer.

BBC journalists have been banned from describing the kidnapped Venezuelan leader as having been kidnapped. The BBC News Editor has sent this to BBC journalists.

2/ As the Prime Minister has made clear, we support international law. Our collective focus must now be on achieving a transition without bloodshed to a democratic government in Venezuela that respects the rights and will of its people.

The Prime Minister is the one who chose to abandon international law over the attack on Venezuela in order to appease Donald Trump. Other ministers are simply following his script. So the Prime Minister himself should come to Parliament today to explain that appalling decision.

I thought I couldn't detest Starmer more. I was wrong. I voted Labour all my life. Last time was 2019. Never again. Starmer let Israel break international law and now USA. Both times he folded like a cheap deckchair. Let's hope his deckchair is about to be swept away.

Now imagine the 12th bonfires that held hundreds of tyres.
A giant clear plastic bag was used to show just how much pollution and environmental harm comes from burning a single car tire.

Starmer, I am a @UKLabour supporter, but you are seriously fucked if you don’t stand up to this. Take a strong position or piss off. What are we in the UK? Just a drooling lap dog to the US? A seriously pissed off Labour voter. @Keir_Starmer

What a weak arsed political coward. Keir Starmer was quick to condemn Russia for air strikes on Ukraine in 2022 ‘without establishing the facts’ but wants to play for time to come up with a gaslighting statement supporting Trump/US violation of int law & illegal invasion of Venezuela’s sovereignty

BREAKING: Attorney General Pam Bondi unveils the "indictments" against Venezuelan President President Nicolás Maduro and they're even more insane than experts predicted. You really can't make this sh*t up... "Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been indicted in the Southern District of New York. Nicolas Maduro has been charged with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States," Bondi wrote on X. "They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts," she continued. "On behalf of the entire U.S. DOJ, I would like to thank President Trump for having the courage to demand accountability on behalf of the American People, and a huge thank you to our brave military who conducted the incredible and highly successful mission to capture these two alleged international narco traffickers." To point out the incredibly obvious: it's not illegal for Maduro to possess a machine gun. He's the president of a sovereign nation with a standing military. Him having a weapon on Venezuelan territory is not a violation of U.S. nor Venezuelan law. And of course, the American special forces operators who captured Maduro were carrying machine guns. Apparently, that's totally fine and legal according to the upside down fascist logic of this White House. Laws only apply to political enemies of MAGA, never to enforcers of the regime. The absurdity of the machine gun charges underlines just what a farce this entire operation is. The allegations that Maduro was running a narco-trafficking empire are equally fabricated. This is is about seizing Venezuela's oil and rare earth minerals. America, a country awash in guns that can't seem to make it through a week without another mass shooting, just invaded another country, kidnapped their leader, and is now trying to try and imprison him for gun charges. Imagine how knuckle-dragging gullible you'd have to be to buy into any of this. Please ❤️ and share if you oppose the illegal attack on Venezuela!

When you listen to the prevarication of Keir Starmer and his ministers on a basic point of international law we need to be ruthlessly honest and recognise that effectively our country has been rendered up as a Trump colony.
‘You sound like you’re speaking for a country who’s afraid of a bigger country.’ @Lewis_Goodall grills Labour’s Darren Jones on the UK’s repsonse to the US capture of Nicolás Maduro.

This is probably the least of it.. but covering his eyes and ears to deprive him of his senses is a war crime - something the Americans do all the time. And taking a photo of a detainee to humiliate them or to satisfy public curiosity is also a Geneva Convention violation.
