Raiders Run ran a Veteran’s Day 5k. Nathan Pope took home first, and Caleb Faircloth took home second in their age group. Anna L earned third and Valerie C earned second. Ms. Waters took home first in her age group and Ms. Joseph took home second in hers. Great job, Raiders!
MMS hosted author Frances O'Roark Dowell on Thurs. She spoke in assemblies to all 3 grade levels and signed copies of her book for students, taking time to speak to each one. Many thanks to Mrs. Senger for all her hard work on the Simple Gifts grant that made this day possible.
Thank you Little Caesars of Dunn for helping the exploratory team feed the staff at MMS today! We appreciate your support of MMS’s staff.

When we have the best custodians, we have to celebrate them on National Custodians Day! Thank you Mr. Edwards, Mrs. Butler, and Mrs. Smith for taking such good care of MMS and all of us!
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the SCS Technology Department, whose team members make digital learning possible at MMS. It proves their worth that they are able to do so much to serve our community, especially the way digital learning has grown, with so few team members!
The SCS Board of Education announced this morning that masks are mandatory for students and staff at schools.
