Well, I just ran 200 and 400 iso film through a CR scanner, guess I’m going to find out what they do to expired film.
A few days ago I came across a photo I took with my first camera, a Brownie. As I do, uploaded a digital copy to my phone camera roll then edited the date to roughly when I took it. “You are about to change the date by 46 years and 2 months, are you sure”? - Ouch. – at Lake St Louis, MO
When I went to Ireland a few months ago I shot digital and used just 1 lens, a 35mm. The last few times I’ve shot film I’ve used only 35mm lenses. Seriously thinking about trading my DR 50 ‘cron and 28mm Elmarit on a 35mm ‘cron, I think I’d get a lot more use out of that one lens – at St Ann, MO
Today I edited a document in MS Word that was written mostly in Middle English, the poor MS spell and grammar check didn’t know what to do, just about every word was underlined in red. 😂
Found film, from a roll in a charity shot camera, the back had been opened and this was the only survivor.
Space considerations demand that I think the collection some. These will sit in a box for a while then when I truly haven’t missed any of them they’ll be sold/become giveaways or get thrown if they’re dead.
It’s been six months since I shot film, and probably longer since I posted here. In a continuing effort to use up all my colour film so I can concentrate on B/W I figured I’d shoot my last too rolls of E100 on a trip to the Gulf Coast this weekend.
Going to Florida for a conference next week, I won’t have much free time but I hope I can get out and shoot some film.
