Noah is coming to the end of his challenge. He wants to thank everyone for their support and donations. He is going to complete the remaining 400 on Halloween in fancy dress. He has asked if anyone wants to join him for the last part it would be much appreciated. By joining him, he wants anybody and everybody to video themselves doing kick ups and post as a reply to either this post or the final video on the weekend. You don’t have to do 79, anything would mean the world to him. If you can do 79 then fair play. Who’s in??? 😅🩶

Great support from the @brainstrust sending Noah his own poster and some gifts. If you haven’t shared or donated please do, every little helps 🩶
Noah just wanted to say thank you to everyone that is and has supported his journey so far. He’s now done over 3000 and has over 4000 to go. 🩶
So proud of this young man. He’s turned something so negative and scary into something really positive. He’s shown great resilience and character at the age of 13. Please watch the video and if you can support him by sharing his effort or a small donation it would mean alot.

Fantastic support from the brainstrust to help with my recovery. Great free resources that will help me understand what I’ve been through and what my journey will look like. They have also reached out to Noah personally to thank him for his fundraising for the charity and tell him how well he is doing. 🩶👏
What a man, a proper football man but also an incredible human being. There isn’t a week goes by where we don’t talk. Has signed me three times as a player and twice worked together in management. I would not have achieved what I did in the game without his guidance. I think everyone would agree that this couldn’t be more deserved ❤️

My son Noah has taken it upon himself to raise funds for the Brainstrust Charity. He has found it very difficult coping as a teenager with my diagnosis and subsequent surgery. He has chosen to take on the £79 challenge with the Brainstrust to raise awareness as well as funds for them.
His passion is football, something that we share. He is going to combine his love for football and something that has been life changing for us. He is going to do 79 kick ups, 79 times. A combination of 6241 kick ups in October. He will document it through timelapse videos and share with donors and on my social media.
Please support & share 🩶

I will be really honest, prior to my op, I hated seeing these type of messages pal.
However, fortunately, I am living proof of what you talking about. The worry of what might happen and how my family would cope without me was a genuine fear in the lead up to the surgery. Luckily I have hand some great support around me but safeguarding your families future is a non negotiable. You think, it won’t be me, I will be alright. I lost my job the middle of July and then 6 weeks later got my brain tumour diagnosis which led into the emergency surgery and now recovery. I won’t be able to work for the foreseeable future and I can’t drive for 12 months. My mindset has changed completely. Why would you take the risk, protect your family and safeguard their future 🩶
My Sunday every Sunday!
Is it too late to get cover I ….
Have done something to my knee
Rolled my ankle and it’s ballooned up
I fell and dislocated my shoulder
Think I have broken my hand
Am going to be off work and have no INCOME PROTECTION!
Unfortunately yes it is to late you have to protect yourself when your fit an health not after an accident happens.
Let’s stop gofund me pages and tell your team mates to protect themselves.
I’m on the move again with Noah. He’s been an inspiration to me along with others that I will share over the coming days. As a 13 year old lad he has shown great courage and bravery whilst finding words for me when I couldn’t. I will never be able to take back the conversation I had to have with him after breaking the diagnosis. He sat there and looked back at me and said. You are strong and a small chance to you is a big chance compared to others. He then said I want to know everything because I don’t want you to do this alone. Incredible strength of character. Im very proud of him, as I am all three of my children. I’m very grateful for the support prior, during and now post surgery.
I didn’t feel like going today and then I read the invictus poem again that Donna sent me and off we went.
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.

The rebuild begins, hospital to 5k. Reassuring that I’m as slow as I was when I played. My hair is growing quicker than I moved 😅

Fantastic human being, one of the best I’ve worked with. Please follow and share his post to help him raise his profile or reach out to him to see how he can help you.
Given what I’ve been through, it’s changed my perspective on how we treat ourselves and our wellbeing. This can be one way to give something back our bodies. Treat yourself 🩶

Two weeks today, post op and recovery hasn’t been in a straight line a bit like my scar! The surgeon has done an incredible job and I am proud of being able to share this with you because the alternative is unthinkable.
If anyone has any health concerns, don’t do what I did and procrastinate. Please, get yourself checked and push for answers because life can change in an instance. I will share my full journey at some point with the idea that it will help someone. I have always avoided the doctors and medication until I had no choice. These things have saved my life along with my partner Donna who pushed me reluctantly into getting a CT scan and the rest is history. The great thing about it is that I get to write my next chapter. #braintumoursurvivor #getchecked #BrainTumourAwareness #GrayMay

A little update on the past 25 days and how life for us has been turned upside down. I am now two weeks post op and recovery is slow and steady. A big thank you to everyone for the messages of support and donations, I’ve been incredibly humbled and it’s meant so much to my family and I.
Feeling blessed and privileged to be able to continue the biggest challenge of my life and embrace each step. 🩶
Thanks mate, really appreciate it. 🩶❤️

All the best mate, with you all the way you’ve got this. @MikeFowlerSS
What an incredible job you have done. What does success look like?! Getting to the cup final last year and keeping the club in the league. Working with young players, developing them and moving them on to higher in the pyramid. Stylistically being brave in the identity of the team. Having a holistic 360 approach to the whole club and what the culture at the club should be. Most importantly being humble, having an outstanding work ethic and a good human being. ❤️
1/2 My time at @FlintTownFC has come to an end in was the correct decision Football don’t always give you what you need from it at times. But equally needs fresh ideas, I’ve met some amazing people at the club, to my staff thank you for your hard work and loyalty
