Your pipeline needs a next step. Know who will use the product, who controls the budget and who can approve the purchase. What would you change first?

Who is in your corner? The deal that keeps slipping. The hire you are unsure about. The market you are considering. What would you change first?

A strong brand can earn the meeting. Delivery earns the renewal. Before promising scale, name who owns implementation, first customer value and recovery when something breaks. Where does the handoff usually fail?

Building a B2B business in Africa comes with decisions you shouldn’t have to work through alone. How do you shorten a sales cycle? Build a stronger revenue team? Enter a new market while keeping your existing customers well served?

Where do African revenue leaders fit in this AI wave, and how do we get our share of the cake? Quite a week in enterprise tech. Chirantan "CJ" Desai steps down as MongoDB's CEO to build Meta’s enterprise AI business. Following the announcement, MongoDB’s market cap fell from roughly $33.1bn to $27bn. About $6.1bn lost in one trading session. Then former Snowflake CRO Chris Degnan joins Cognition as CRO, valued at $48bn. Chris story is very interesting 😆 Clearly, there’s value in people who know how to turn technology into enterprise revenue. But CJ’s challenge is interesting. Meta has the resources and reach, yet it’s a consumer-first business. In my humble view, building an enterprise B2B business within that environment will be tricky. Having businesses advertise on your platform doesn’t automatically mean they’ll trust you with critical operations. That trust takes time to build. For African commercial operators, what should we be doing now to position ourselves to build and lead these businesses?

Customer Service Week is 5–9 October. Most businesses will hand out mugs, hampers or branded notebooks. Nice, but what about a new experience from one of the largest marketplaces across Africa? A ride gets used. It gets a customer to your office, a team member home safe, or a client to their next meeting without stress. If you want to show your customers and your team they matter this week, you can use Bolt for Business coupons, and we can help you roll them out across Africa. DM me if you're interested. #Mobility #Boltforbusiness #coupons #CSW

Everyone who knows me personally knows my love for EDM. Inspired by @DavidSolomon Chairman and CEO of @GoldmanSachs , I have a dream of becoming a professional DJ one day too. For now, I’m sharing my top 50 EDM playlist on @Spotify . With the help of AI, it updates automatically every Monday. Give it a listen and let me know what you think. Which tracks or styles of EDM should I add? open.spotify.com/playlist/1m…

Building a startup comes with challenges every day, but that's also what makes it exciting. I was lucky to join Bolt before we became a unicorn. Today, I work in Bolt for Business, which is a startup within Bolt. There is always something to learn, a new problem to solve and more to build. Last week, we came together with our global colleagues in Coimbra, Portugal, for our summit. It was a chance to reflect on our progress, connect with colleagues from around the world and learn from each other as we keep growing the business. But more than 65% of my team couldn't attend because of visa challenges. That was the hardest part. The reality of travelling on a weaker passport means missing moments you deserve to be part of. I'm glad they could join remotely and contribute to what we are building together, but we missed having them there in person. To our African GTM colleagues who couldn't make it, this team photo is incomplete without you. We can't wait to have you with us at the next summit. ❤️

Benioff is speaking, and he sees a group of some of his former senior employees in the room. They now work at Anthropic. Many CEOs: “I can’t stand any senior employee who leaves, and l especially can’t stand the CEOs who poach them away.” Benioff: “I measure myself by how many CEOs, COO’s and CRO’s are at other companies that all came from Salesforce” Easier way to live.
Claude just unblocked a deal stuck in Salesforce for 11 days. Live at #DF26. No slides. Real pipeline. In seconds, it: • Scanned the Slack thread • Checked the security review • Cross-referenced pricing history • Executed the next step under standard seller permissions That’s Claudeforce. Not AI bolted onto CRM. Claude executing inside the system the business already trusts. Trust first. Now it acts. ❤️💪

Dario is presenting sensible arguments and proposals for slowing down AI progress. The stakes are existential now and the risk/reward tradeoff is hard to justify.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. A little credit to @OpenAI ’s GTM team. Their push on enterprise adoption has caught my attention. @AnthropicA built a strong business around enterprise customers early on. Reuters reported that business and enterprise clients contributed around 80% of its revenue in October 2025. Now @OpenAI enterprise business is gaining ground within its own revenue mix. This week, its CFO said enterprise and consumer revenue had reached parity. Those figures aren’t a market-share comparison, but they show why the enterprise race matters. What interests me most is the work behind it. OpenAI’s practical training sessions for different business functions are a smart move. Helping people apply AI to their daily work gives companies a reason to keep using it and expand. Anyone leading a commercial team knows how much effort that takes. A great demo gets attention. Building customer trust, navigating procurement and getting employees comfortable enough to change how they work takes sustained execution. The researchers and engineers deserve the recognition they receive. I think the GTM, customer success and training teams deserve more visibility too. So, kudos to OpenAI’s team for the enterprise adoption push. From where I sit, this is an important part of competing with Anthropic. GTM leaders: what have you seen in this AI adoption race that the rest of us should be paying more attention to? #openai #chatgpt #claude
