$AYA Aya Gold & Silver is converting metal prices into cash π°π°π°
Replying to @GoldSilverHQ
Aya Gold & Silver $AYA - Q2 2026 Results β Key Highlights:
π Revenue reached $97 million, up 151% year-over-year. Growth was driven by higher silver-equivalent ounces sold and a sharp rise in the average realized AgEq price to $64.22/oz (+90% YoY)
π° Net income came in at $35 million, or diluted EPS of $0.23, representing a 305% increase from $9 million ($0.06) in Q2 2025.
π΅ Operating cash flow rose to $48 million, a 522% improvement year-over-year, supported by stronger production, higher prices, and lower unit costs.
π¦ Cash and cash equivalents stood at $183 million at quarter-end (excluding $16 million of restricted cash), up from $136 million at the end of 2025.
βοΈ Consolidated silver-equivalent production totaled 1.7 million ounces, up 61% year-over-year, including output from both the Zgounder mine and the Boumadine pyrite reclaim operation.
π Cash costs improved to $16.82 per AgEq ounce sold, down 21% from Q2 2025, helped by a lower strip ratio and higher throughput.
β οΈ Missed analyst expectations: Revenue of $97 million came in below the ~$122 million consensus, while diluted EPS of $0.23 missed estimates that were generally in the $0.33β$0.40 range.
π Sequential softness: Revenue declined from $117 million in Q1 2026 and net income was lower than the prior quarter, mainly due to a drop in realized silver prices during Q2.
ποΈ Operational progress: The company highlighted continued advancement at the Boumadine project and maintained its 2026 production guidance.

But in the mean time, they are buying gold at record levels π
