Replying to @RogersHistory
The quality of education would improve massively if the only thing teachers had to worry about was turning up each day and teaching.
The job has continuously becomes complex.
Bureaucracy always seems to win out, sadly.

Children, like adults, are complex beings Here's a couple of poems from yr3 at Belleville Wix Academy, based on my poem Russian Doll ( from The Language of Cat)

Parents - I know it’s tough, and it’s hard for you, but please remember the staff at your children’s school are humans too.
They are having the same worries, anxieties as you and they would rather your children were in school. Please bear it in mind before you send that email.

Any other NQTs feel like we should be cut a little slack? We’ve entered our first year of teaching, with 4 months less training than we should have had, in the middle of a pandemic. Feeling overwhelmed today 😢 - please tell me I’m not alone @MrTs_NQTs #nqt #teacher #homelearning

Lateral flow tests are massively unreliable, why is testing primary school staff using these a good thing?
Confused.

Didn’t get chance to learn a new skill in lockdown so used the summer hols instead. Acrylic paintings inspired by childrens books I’ve read recently. Will then look to include a book review for each one too. Thanks @Teacherglitter for inspiration.

Some people don’t seem to have that ‘if my mum ever saw me do that, I’d wake up breathing through a tube’ voice in their heads do they? They definitely need it though 🤔

Alex Tear & Bishop Jo Wells: Raleigh School just informed parents ur blocking use of the closed Ripley School site to allow Y5 children back to school on Monday. Clearly disappointing. What are you doing to resolve your issues and get it open please? @CofEGuildford

Seeing soo many negative tweets about NQT’s. Guess what? I will be waltzing into those school doors in September with my head held high wearing my NQT badge with great pride. I am a staff member who is there to teach and support my pupils. I trained. I passed.
