Today in RE, we learned a new story called Jonah and the Whale. The children loved exploring the meaning behind the story, and afterwards they created their very own whales 🐳 @MabLanePri @MrsBriggsMLP

Today in science we looked again at different plants that create different fruits! We even closely examined a pumpkin 🎃 We used our senses to discuss the smell, feel, potential taste and sight of the pumpkin together as a group! @MabLanePri @MissEdgeMLP

Today we used our reknreks to show a number in 2 parts using BOTH the bars 🤔 it was quite tricky at first but we got the hang of it so quickly #masteringnumber @MrScarrMLP @MabLanePri

In Music we decided to look at songs that we LOVE to listen to in our spare time and try to find the pulse ourselves. 👂 👏🏼 We listened carefully together to a large number of songs we love and had a sing and a dance at the end of lesson 🎶 @MabLaneMusic

In Geography this week we have answered some questions about our individual weather maps we made 🤩 🗺️ We watched a weather forecast and discussed how the weather can move over the UK, making it different temperatures and types of weather in different places! 🌎 @MabLanePri

Today we said goodbye to a very special friend of ours in Violet class 💜 We will miss you very much - good luck in your new adventure! “Bye - bye!” 👋🏼 🥰 @MissWatsonMLP

Today for our art lesson we have completed a mosaic of a spiral on a large scale. We used a variety of different art materials and equipment to assist us creating the spiral effect in different shapes and colours 🌀@MabLaneArt @MissWatsonMLP

Today in maths we have continued working using the minus symbol and creating new equations to solve both independently and with each other 🥳 we have done an amazing job! @MabLanePri

In PSHE we discussed all about the importance of creating awareness for Mental Health! 🧩 We talked about what made us happy and how we can remain positive 😊 @MabLanePri

In PE today we continued with our progression of ball skills - specifically hand eye coordination and rolling 🤚🏾 We looked at the difference in rolling a big ball and a small ball. In pairs we discussed which was easier for us and why! 🥳 @MabLanePri @MissEdgeMLP

In Science we have explored what fruits grow from different plants - we investigated certain fruits, creating patterns and making some lovely fruit juices in our tuff tray! 🍎 🍊 We learnt that fruits have seeds in them! 🌱 @MabLanePri

Today in maths we have continued on with our learning of the part whole model and writing some tricky number sentences ✍️ 🤩 @MabLanePri @MrScarrMLP

Today in computing, we used the laptops and learned how to click and drag using the trackpad! The children practised moving objects on the screen and had lots of fun developing their control and coordination skills! 💻🖱️@MabLanePri

In maths we have been working so hard on our number bonds this week 💪🏽 we have loved using the reknreks to support us in writing our number sentences 🤩 @MabLanePri
