MH tip #2: practice art of stillness. Take 10 minutes to just sit quietly away from distractions & just focus on your breath. In a society where it is badge of honour to be busy, where we bombard ourselves and our kids with activities, allot some time for yourself. #MentalHealth

Just a reminder that the politicians colluding with foreign powers aren’t minors that deserve a chance of rehabilitation through a period of anonymity.
They are adults, trusted elected officials, who made the conscious decision to sell out 🇨🇦 and Canadians for personal gain.
They have lost any right to privilege or special treatment.
The government and party leaders must name them. Every hour they delay erodes public trust in our institutions and democracy.

Bomb the shit outta them. Then give them Visas. Then get mad at them for not integrating into society after ignoring any lifelong trauma from losing their entire bloodline. Then threaten to deport them back to countries where we made them refugees in the first place.Rinse.Repeat.

Ok fast forward a year and let’s assume every international student is sent home. You will still have the same problems, you will still have a monster mortgage, truck payments > $1000/mo., $10K to go on a family vacation after being burnt out at work. The only winners in this
race to the bottom are shareholders who are squeezing every last ounce of productivity out of you where consumption is a marker of your value. I agree that the student program has had problems and needs to be overhauled but to blame all of your problems on kids that are getting
The real winners in this housing bubble have been couples where the husband is the renovator and the wife is the designer (or vice-versa). Pick your partners wisely 😜

Absolutely not surprised by this as a former Oakville resident.
The way the wealthy in this country have co-opted municipal government to steal economic and property rights from the middle class has put our country on the path to serfdom.
Today #Oakville council voted against allowing fourplexes town-wide, and against 4 stories around Sheridan. Only one cllr was in favour.
Residents boo'd and laughed at the folks who showed up in support. Again. Oakville is a city that's living up to its unfortunate nickname.
Which young person has $60K in their RRSPs (and if they did they probably wouldn’t be making use of CMHC insured mortgages to purchase a house)? The insurance premium is almost 1/3rd of your 10% down payment amount on a $650K house. Stay indebted for life.
Unrelated to the story but if you’re taking out HELOCs against your existing house to pay for a deposit for your new house, you have no business buying a $1M house lol.
Edmonton where you can buy 5 houses for the price of 1 house in Toronto. Our beloved Toronto home builder Mattamy has already taken notice 🙄
When your realtor tells you to paint the walls and you decide to destroy the exterior instead… Happy Valentine’s Day!
Anyone come up with a catchy name for the recent mortgage fiasco? I suggest the ‘Child Actor’ or ‘bumfuck nowhere’ mortgage. Another example that fraud is rampant from Vancouver island to Kleinburg amongst every demographic group despite @sm_cmc being ostracized for saying same.
BoC should just hire @ManyBeenRinsed and call it a day
