A 3 year old named Nevada was kicked out of his i9 Sports soccer league in Winter Park, Florida, and police escorted his family off the field. His parents say the opposing team's parents complained that none of their 5 year olds could take the ball from him and accused him of "trying to put on a show." "They really called the police on a 3 year old because he had the ball too much," his dad said. The family says they got a refund, and neither the league nor police have commented. balleralert.com/ph2g

A sniper in Iraq once pulled the trigger and then had to wait almost 10 seconds to find out if he'd hit the guy. Count that out loud. One Mississippi, two Mississippi, all the way to ten. That whole time a .50 caliber bullet was flying across 2.2 miles of Mosul, and it stayed in the air so long the Earth was turning underneath it. The shooter was with Canada's JTF2 special forces, and the shot was measured at 3,540 meters back in 2017. Over a distance like that, the planet's spin actually pushes the bullet off course. Shooters call it the Coriolis effect. One ballistics breakdown figured that alone meant aiming about 11 feet higher and 4.5 feet to the side, and that's before you even get to the bullet dropping the whole way or the sideways drift it picks up from the rifling in the barrel. Meanwhile the guy you're aiming at can walk about 45 feet in 10 seconds. The record kept moving after that. In August 2025 a sniper in Ukraine's Pryvid unit reportedly hit two Russian soldiers from 4,000 meters, about 2.5 miles out, with a recon drone and AI software helping him figure out the shot. Nobody officially certifies these, so that's Ukraine's number, and the bullet went through a window on the way in. All of which makes the end of Wanted way more fun to rewatch. Wesley spends the whole movie learning to bend bullets with a flick of his wrist, and in the last scene Sloan steps onto a taped X on an office carpet while a round fired from miles across town goes through a coworker's doughnut and an energy drink before it gets to him. When that movie came out in 2008, the real record was 2,430 meters. It's grown by almost exactly a mile since.
This scene still holds the crown for the most ridiculously impossible long-distance sniper shot in film history.

You know maybe every job market is the same but I started in Pro & Elite Sports back in 2014. Every job I’ve had in this field has its own extremely unique story. I think it’s time to tell em all. Some are heroes. Some are villains. I’ll let y’all decide.
