The only reason it's "opt out" rather than "opt in" is because they know no one wants it or would use it.

Rank reset seemed to have made it worse, I get that it doesn’t effect 97% of the playerbase so they don’t have monetary incentive to fix it but it really is frustrating seeing someone with 10 hours on the game in GM all roles
Died to an enemy on Samoa because on their side these umbrellas were down but on mine they were up and blocking my view, creating an advantage to them.
Shooting them lowers them but why is that not server side?
Could any game devs enlighten me?

Back in the day we would add these guys and try to get as good as them.
Nowadays they are "tryhards" and "ruined gaming" because people can't be arsed to put the effort in.
