This is the most feature-packed release in OrcaSlicer's history: more than 950 pull requests from over 140 contributors.
🧩 Python plugins: extend the slicer without maintaining a fork, and share your plugins on Orca Cloud
🧱 Texture Displacement: stamp real, printable 3D texture onto any surface
🎨 Color mixing: blend new colors from the filaments you already have loaded
🏭 Belt printing: conveyor "infinite Z" printers, sliced natively
👯 IDEX & IQEX parallel printing: two to four parts at once
✏️ Design tab: a parametric CAD workspace inside the slicer (early preview)
⚡ Speed Dial: press Space, run anything
Plus Tool-changing algorithm improvements, precise Seam modifiers, startup in about half the time, slicing ~35% faster, and hundreds of fixes.
It's an alpha, so some of this is experimental. Back up the projects you care about.

✅ Class-leading loadcell mesh calibration
✅ Fast eddy current toolhead offset calibration with ambient noise cancellation (PRUSA)
✅ Priming outside print area, with real print backpressure analog. Only 13 milligrams of material to fully prime. 1/5th of previous best in class!!! (PRUSA)
✅ Waste/priming pellets are formed for direct recycling. No grinding or pre-processing needed before going in the filament extruder (PRUSA)
✅ No waste/prime tower as the tool is pre-primed fully (PRUSA)
✅ True Toolchange Time: 10-17 seconds per change based on material. That’s from the last extrusion from one material to the first extrusion with the next, on the model itself. Achieved with removing the waste tower (PRUSA)

Happy I can finally share this ..been running indx on my v2 350 for a while now ..made a new gantry for it so I can mount all the indx tools on the rear instead of the front...with a nice RGB cover to hide the rear of the toolhead..it turned out really nice so far

The new @BambulabGlobal P2S firmware (v1.02.00.00) introduces native touchscreen control for my VentoBox air filter system. No custom profiles needed, and it activates automatically when printing via the Handy app (need update). Super happy to see it finally happen 🎉
