Happy New Year everyone. I want to say first thank you for everyone that follows our page. We've been able to grow by testing with you, developing with new friends, and building the GunCAD community to a place that we want to see. We've tested launchers, pdws, pistols, flamethrowers, and more this year. It would be impossible without you supporting us and joining us in this effort. With that said I want to get you all an update on the projects we are still testing and working to push out this year in 2026. Come and check out the pictures and feel free to ask questions it's going to be a great year!
It is that time again the Black Lotus Coalition is pushing recruitment!

We need all of the help we can get to keep up the fight against gun control and you are a part of that fight! Bring your tools and bring your experience because if we are going to win this war it starts with you and it starts with your expertise!
Like we said though recruitment is open to anyone and honestly we would love to work with you regardless of your experience in the space. Everyone is welcome hope to see you on our Matrix!
Great news for gun owners
🚨 BREAKING 🚨
ATF Releases NFA guidance in response to the Texas NFA lawsuit:
"Effective October 9, 2026, ATF will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapon[s]” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). ATF will also no longer require such items to be registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. These policies apply uniformly to anyone otherwise subject to these requirements, not just to the plaintiffs in the litigation."

When you're legally targeting a company for a small slogan on the box, this ceases to be a 2nd Amendment issue and becomes a 1st.
But California isn't new to this.
They're suing companies for making stickers about 3D printing.
They're going after parts kit retailers.
They just passed a law forcing all 3D printers to include "gun blocking" technology that doesn't exist yet. Once it does, every machine without it will be banned.
California is a sick place.
San Diego County is suing filament maker Polymaker, alleging its "Come and Make It" marketing made 3D-printer filament a regulated "firearm precursor part." It seeks up to $2,500 per violation; the complaint says it doesn't seek to ban filament sales.

San Diego County is suing Polymaker. Why you ask? Marketing. Polymaker is a community standard for many of us in this community they have great materials and fantastic quality. Any printer whether printing firearms or not knows this. So a county in the state of California decided to target Polymaker. Polymaker has always marketed to us because their quality and in the majority of the US gunsmithing is completely legal as well as PMFs. Included in the lawsuit are references to a good friend of our Sean a man known as the 3DPrintGeneral. An absolute legend in 3d printing who got his start printing firearms and now focuses on content around new printers and materials.
"The company created firearm-themed products, partnered with gun-printing influencers, paid affiliates to promote its filament to gun-printing audiences, provided technical guidance for firearm applications and engaged directly with online communities devoted to printing guns," the County statement said."
So now communities like ours who follow the law and use materials because of quality are an enemy to California. They can and will sue regardless of any of this making sense regardless of the state, regardless of regulations or free speech. The goal isn't to win. The goal is to force the companies to burn money. The idea is that the companies will avoid doing whatever the plaintiffs are suing them over to prevent further headaches.
Please support @3DPrintGeneral anyway you can and give him a follow. We stand with him anyway we can.
The Decker 9 beta has received a lot of love. We are continuing to work on this project and make it better everyday. How do we do that? We experiment! Now joining the lineup in the Decker 9 room is the double helical magazine we prepared for trouble and made it double. 128 round of 9mm for the discerning gentleman. This is still a prototype but it works.

Today we are proud to announce the Urutau MK2 has left beta and been released through our normal upload channels. Developed by Zé Carioca a friend to many of us in the community we thought this one would be lost due to his incarceration at the hands of the Brazilian government. Developer Rsmith28 came along with backed up files and asked us for help finishing up the pack and getting this one out to the public. I'm proud to know that we were able to finish this legacy project and release it today.
The MK2 comes with many upgraded features compared to the V1. It's much more compact compared to an FGC-9 or V1 Urutau, it comes with a slappable charging handle like the MP5 and improves the trigger and barrel. There is increased and improved documentation as well as a new ammunition type the 9x23mm Stark. This new ammo type is a DIY cartridge that is extremely easy to replicate. The MK2 is an SBR by definition with an overall length of 16.8 inches.
We really hope you enjoy this design as much as we have. Come and join the Black Lotus Coalition and make some history with us.
You can find parts kits available here from our friends over at @3_D_2_A !

Follow the countdown on the @guncadindex 13 minutes until it drops!
We are so close to moving this one to Beta come and check out the devs update!
What is this mysterious countdown on the index? @guncadindex
Sorry for the long wait! Had some personal things and was waiting on parts to come in. Hopefully, the last Alpha build! This new design is harder to make, so it took some time to get the first one right. If it holds up, things should start moving pretty fast for Beta!
Some pictures from the Jaçanä beta over at Black Lotus Coalition. We are always looking for testers you should come and get involved! If you're just getting started out we have a great help room setup and a wonderful community to help you.

Replying to @tandemkross
@tandemkross just thought id show this off. Documentation coming SOONTM. video of live fire prolly tonight into the bucket 🤷♂️
Left side non-recipercating charging handle concept. Should work with modified oem recoil guide rods or ones from KIDD.
Will work with oem handle's but a block will be included to make it right side ejection.
This will add BHO along with HK-slapability.

Now going into beta, introducing The Paeonia, named for the Greek physician to the gods, because it'll cure what ails ya!
Namely the headache of loading rounds into the breech and the pain of spending almost 500$ to build a firearm with an action thats been around since the 1860's.
This remix of AvieAtrix's Trash Panda incorporates a removable, printed magazine and optimizes the build process by using your local hardware store, amazon, and elbow grease in place of SendCutSend and McMaster to bring the cost to about ~180$ filament included!
As it stands, the build should work with either .223, 5.56, 300 Blackout, or even .350 Legend with just a barrel swap.
The printed Magazine utilizes easily sourced off the shelf (or off the amazon) springs, so no more cutting up your magpul mags either! The redesigned, fully printed bolt carrier no longer requires a drill press or expensive bits, and no longer ruins an otherwise perfect Bolt Carrier.
Right now we're focused on testing out the DIY lever arms for longevity and making sure the magazine runs all the listed calibers
