Sixty years in public life, and still the same person. Proud of you, Ma. ❤️
"The values that I learnt growing up survive. I have tried my best to be true to them: loyalty to family and friends, sincerity and feeling for others, the idea of being dutiful and responsible. I think I can say that in these I am the same person Rajiv met sixty years ago." - CPP Chairperson @SoniaGandhi

Only in India, will the mother of a dead victim be treated this way. Is the grief of losing a daughter due to MURDER not bad enough ?
Look around you. People have begun to make excuses for rapists, murderers - celebrating their reintegration into society with garlands. Is this the society you want to live in? Raise kids in? Do you feel safe?
Look around you again, each person who defends the indefensible, hides behind ‘politics’, looks the other way as though this should be normal,
please send plentiful curses their way.

What if a part of the larger problem is the glorification and glamourization of grotesque violence in pop culture?
We are failing our next generation by platforming brutality as aspiration in the movies. Empathy is necessary but introspection is the need. Because culture is built by all but broken by a few.
When someone commits a heinous crime, the first response should be empathy & an attempt to understand the larger problem. Not finding a convenient scapegoat in cinema.
It is becoming increasingly clear that your concern is not for the victims or their families, but that you're using a horrific tragedy as a dirty excuse to settle your personal scores.
This is especially directed at those failed frustrated jobless male/female actors, few directors, producers & parasites, who suddenly appoint themselves as social reformers whenever an opportunity arises to take a dig at someone else's work.
A tragedy deserves empathy 🙏, not opportunism. Learn the difference.
