Popped to our local Asda tonight.
Even the S in their sign has been paused.
Just like the £30 off deal. Bring them both back.
Today's update.

Not quite yesterday's spike, but still way beyond what this account was doing a week ago. Thank you to everyone following along. Genuinely building a money community here, one post at a time.
Seeing a lot of anger in our replies, so to be clear we're not trying to stop anyone getting a good deal, or calling out those who used it. Asda left the door wide open.
The offer's paused for everyone now. We're just asking them to bring it back in a form that'll actually last.
That's it.
We've written an open letter to @asda
Their £30 off new customer offer was a real help for families . A loophole got it paused, but families shouldn't be the ones who lose out.
Our fix: groceries only, one per household. Bring it back, Asda 🛒

Grid #2 is officially half full.
We hit 1,000 yesterday afternoon. That's +500 in about 24 hours!
500 dots to go until 2,000.
What should we explain next?

Stock Check: HSBC $HSBC 📊
Profit up 32% to $9.6bn.
Shares down 7% today. 📉
Why? Revenue missed forecasts and its wealth business stopped growing.
The lesson: markets trade on what's next, not what's already done.
Education, not advice.

The response to that Asda £30 off deal says a lot.
So many people jumped on it because every pound really matters right now. The weekly shop is a stretch for a lot of households.
We'll keep hunting for deals like this and checking them before we share 💚

🇬🇧 BUDGET 2026: WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR
With the Chancellor’s Budget due tomorrow, here’s what’s already been announced 👇
💷 Workers: Tax-free business mileage rates are being increased for people driving their own vehicles for work.
👨👩👧 Families: Parental pay support is set to reach more than 150,000 additional parents each year.
❤️ Carers: Plans will end the Carer’s Allowance cliff edge, so earning slightly more won’t mean losing the entire allowance.
🛒 Cost of living: Import tariffs on more than 100 products are being removed, with estimated savings of up to £21 a year on food shopping.
🏡 Energy: A new low-interest and interest-free loan scheme will help homeowners fund solar panels, batteries and heat pumps.
📊 What’s still to come? Tax, public spending, government borrowing and potential support with household energy bills are all in focus.

🛢️ Oil remains above $115 a barrel, keeping inflation concerns alive.
💷 Sterling slipped against the dollar as investors positioned ahead of the Budget.
🏦 UK 10-year gilt yields remain above 5.3% — meaning borrowing costs are still a key concern.
