re: "Project Higherliquid" - $HIGH
gm fellow $HYPE maximalists
currently, I am betting my career on building a first-of-its-kind Equity Perps & Equity Options infrastructure on the Hyperliquid ecosystem, with OG status (100% revshare & five 80% revshare invite links per OG user) for our first 1000 users, in true hyperliquid fashion
codename: "Higherliquid"
project higherliquid will be exiting Stealth Mode in coming Tuesday, April 14
early access invites will start being sent out at 9:00AM PST tomorrow - dms are open.
Hyperliquid.

What's happening in cybersecurity is a COVID-like wave ripping through the Internet. Honestly surprised it took this long, but seems like it's here now.
Crypto already saw this.
Onchain hacks are a canary for what will happen in the rest of web security, because onchain is the first and easiest place to monetize cyberattacks. Crypto protocols have already hardened themselves against this (small protocols are mostly getting popped; large protocols are using AI tools to protect themselves). This means that while the NUMBER of hacks has gone vertical, the run rate of $$s hacked is actually roughly equal to 2025. Meaning the dollar value of hacks has gone down, while the number has gone up—a mass looting of small, poorly maintained protocols.
I expect the same thing to be happening in the general web.
they’re calling it the black October lmao.
> node.js: security vulnerability.
> PHP: critical RCE vulnerabilities.

> liteLLM: malicious PyPI + Docker releases

> OpenCode: AI API keys exposed.
> OVHcloud CLI: official binaries backdoored.
> RankMath PRO: malware inside official plugin.
> TeamUpdraft: customer data compromised.
> ConnectWise: cloud backup identities compromised.
> SubQuery: backdoored npm package.
> GhostAction: GitHub repos with malicious workflows (related to the broader Shai-Hulud/ChainDrop activity).
> eMudhra: certificate authority keys compromised (with downstream impact on Tailscale).
this some complete madness bro. 1/3 of the internet is fucked.
even linux is getting hit
all of these are remote code execution attacks too
which means they can literally run anything (code) on exposed machines
consumers are probably fine bcs theres bigger fish to catch for blackhats
the prob is services, apps, exchanges, custodians etc

Linux kernal SMB CVE 9.0.
Hits keep coming boys
Several Linux Kernel Vulnerabilities Accidentally Posted To Public Kernel Mailing List
As high as CVSS 9.0. Whoops.

if btc bottoms here ahead of unemployment print this is probs decent ev
strength has been very good
$rune
holding soxl shorts as hedge in case chop/retrace continues - but if strength is found here then rune & xmr probs one of the main leads for next wave up among alts
also $rune
for those of you who know, the most recent bitget hack chose to route 85%+ of the funds through thorchain
controversial and definitely underdiscussed, but that means that the market of dprk type scum and kimchi type scum already arrived on the consensus that thorchain is the best they can choose to move their funds
the ceo himself, when confronted on why he didnt turn off the routes, insisted that he wouldnt help to turn off routes even during hacks
this led to a +389% MoM revenue increase for thorchain, which led to $rune appreciating heavily
now the question is whether there would be more hacks in september, or more hacks in october & november as more critical components of the software & web supply chain are compromised?
outcome 1: thorchain stops being the money laundering chain = very good, scum gets choked out
outcome 2: all/most incoming hacks continue to get routed through thorchain
more and more vulnerabilities seem to get discovered today & another cex even sadly even got hacked a few hours ago
in either case punting more $rune to hedge against potential losses from hacks on other accounts - obviously the best scenario is nothing gets hacked and hedges doesnt have to pay off

count no man happy until they’re dead for whatever is gained can now be lost
note: imo this play acts as a hedge for potential hacks

for every event that happens in the world, there is always a trade
sizing and risk is the variable to tune as many good ppl say
but as long as the world rotates, there will always be event-driven plays
because
the world itself is just events

for your self-custodial cryptos yes, but for crypto platforms, crypto apps, crypto custodians, crypto cexes, and basically everything other than what you mentioned
are all exposed
its in the hands of not only how good each team's specialists are (no way all of them are perfect) but also even if theyre geniuses, every single tool theyre using by itself might be compromised - the amount of vulnerabilities in the past few days has been at historical highs & it goes as deep as the language level

i run data collection agents & cron jobs on my favorite sectors across asset classes to always stay in the loop
if you made money on semis, memory, gpus on the ai production wave
now is probs a good time to make money on cybersec on the ai acceleration wave

Burning takes $RUNE out of circulation and stops there.
Protocol-Owned Liquidity takes it out of circulation too, and keeps it working.
Every block, 20% of THORChain's system income goes into the pool that earned the most fees for its depth over the last 3 days. Arbs pair the RUNE with the token on the other side, so the protocol ends up holding RUNE and $ZEC, $TRX or whatever else swappers want most.
That position does three things a burned token can't.
-It earns swap fees.
-It deepens the pool, so swaps get better prices.
-And it buys the dip: when $RUNE drops against the paired token, the position trades part of that token for more RUNE, automatically.

adding more thorchain $rune as best in-class xmr beta on broader mkt bounce if we get one
atm xmr is one of if not the strongest performing cryptos even on btc flush - attributable to one of the biggest cybersec hack narratives (usually leads crypto hack narratives)
1. money laundering chain into yet another hack cycle
2. v3.21 live tomorrow (23 oct)
3. developers publicly talking about native xmr/rune pairs getting integrated in the very near future -> a possible xmr <-> rune attention flywheel
zoom out and spot/low lev while monitoring cyber exploit aths -> highly likely inflated amount of crypto hacks in the very near future
max longed monero $xmr 630$ average entry with stink limit buys to 590$
thesis:
1. railway hack today and more hacks to come -> these kinds of actual hack money goes through monero not zec (zec txs are public by default, private only when you explicitly enable it -> that makes it easier & feasible for anyone half decent to reverse engineer the txs of private txs since most are public by default. zec great asset to trade and play, i trade it - but for actual usecase theres a reason why monero is the one that always pumps on large scale hacks)
2. emudhra incident, php incident, node.js incident -> there is far more hacks happening in real time at this very moment. not just railway. all of those will flow to monero
