ALT Four panels from the Avatar comics featuring Aang growing more and more angry with the air acolytes. Panel 1: Aang is excited looking at the arrow on the air acolyte's forehead. "And the arrows you've painte don your foreheads look almost exactly like real airbender tattoos!" Panel 2: Air acolyte is pointing to her tattoo. "Oh, these aren't paint. They're real tattoos! We use the same ink you--" Panel 3: Aang reacts in shock. "Wait, what?! But air nomad tattoos have to be EARNED through years and years of airbending practice! They're not--" Panel 4: Air acolyte is clasping her hands while several people look on at the argument. "Oh we know Avatar Aang! For a fan club member to receive her tattoos, she must master hundreds of airbender-like forms!" "Airbender-like?! Those tattoos are sacred to my people! They describe who we are and how we see the world! You have no right to tattoo yourselves like that!"
