Why is everyone making such a big deal about all the Brewers fans traveling to Tampa?
I’m sure if this series had gone back to Milwaukee, both of Tampa’s fans would’ve traveled to see the games there, too.
Don’t you wish that MLB started these half-innings in extra innings with a guy on second during the playoffs?

Bob Uecker's Harry Doyle calls from "Major League" became part of baseball movie history.
The famous misses, deadpan reactions and booth one-liners worked because Uecker already knew exactly how a baseball broadcast was supposed to sound. He could parody an announcer without making the character feel fake.

Except for 1903, 1904, 1905, 1909, 1920, and 1992 (depending if you count the *Atlanta* Braves)
“Why in the second inning? Because Matt already had a ticket on Frontier’s 9:29 flight back to Cleveland from Tampa, so we decided to get what we could out of him so he didn’t have to pay a change fee….”
